"Hey Nagi" Reo said with a low voice, "hm?" Nagi responded while tapping away on his phone, resting his head against Reo's leg. "Are you going to the party tonight?" Nagi shook his head, "Nope".
Reo frowned slightly "Well why not?" He asked tilting his head looking down at where Nagi rested, "its too much of a hassle" Nagi said flatly, still locked on to the game he was playing "Awhh alright then" Reo said with a little dissapointment before continuing "I'll probably be going though, Otoya and Hiori asked me if i would join them" Reo said leaning back a little.
Nagi hummed in response "Are you fine being alone till i get back?" Reo asked. Nagi stayed silent for a bit as he stared at the words "you died", that popped up on his screen. "I'll be fine" he said shrugging, tossing his phone a bit further away on the bed.
Reo nodded playing with Nagi's hair for a bit, "I should probably get ready then" Reo said standing up quickly.
Nagi deflated at the loss of warmth, rolling over to his side picking up his phone again to resume his gaming session. As Reo walked into the bathroom to get ready his phone pinged with a new message from Otoya 'the party starts at 9 at --------'
'I still have 2 hours I'll be fine' Reo thought as he replied with a thumbs up and started trying to get his hair to look good with all sorts of different hair products he got recommended by Chigiri. Speaking of Chigiri he still had to ask him if he was going to the party as well. He thought while rummaging through the drawers in search of the specific products he needed. As he glanced back at his phone, he realized how much time had passed already, he still had to pick out an outfit.
He quickly got his phone and ran to the bedroom to get some fresh clothes. As he entered the room he saw Nagi sleeping with his phone still in hand, Reo who was internally panicking still tried being as quiet as possible to avoid waking him up. He opened up his closet to scramble though his clothes, 'Why isn't there anything good?!' He thought getting even more panicked closing his closet he ran a hand through his hair thinking of what he could wear. He looked over to Nagi who was still sleeping. 'Wait, Nagi!' He thought as he went to Nagi's closet to find some of his clothes he could wear.
Finding a white tshirt with stripes on the shoulders and a black jacket with a logo which he didint recognize, it looked good enough so he put it on quickly and just kept on the pants he already had on. Looking at his phone again he saw that it was nearing time to leave already, he quickly got a piece of paper and hastily wrote "im at the party ill see you soon -reo" the handwriting wasn't neat but it was eligible. He put the note on the nightstand next to the bed and left the house.
The party was louder than he thought and there were alot more people then he thought, Reo already lost Hiori somewhere in the crowd and Otoya was probably somewhere talking to girls. Reo pushed through the crowds of people trying to get to the drinks. As he got closer he noticed a familiar head of pink hair, "Chigiri!" He yelled catching the other boys attention.
Chigiri turned his head in surprise "Woah Reo? I didint expect you to be here" he chuckled looking beside Reo, "Is your pet not here?" Chigiri said with a grin. "Dont call him that" Reo said shaking his head letting out a small giggle. "He didn't want to come so hes still at home" he said shrugging. "Mmm gotcha, want to get some drinks with me then?" Chigiri asked. "Sure i'm down!" Reo said excitedly as they walked to the drink stand. As they chatted Reo suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder making him jolt "woah woah calm down man its just me" Otoya said looking drunker than ever "Wanna make a bet?" He asked grinning "What type of bet?" Chigiri asked raising an eyebrow.
"Woah princess you-" Otoya said before Reo cut him off "What type of bet Otoya, dont get off track" he said with a sigh. "Right right.. a drinking game! Whoever drinks the most gets money!" He exclaimed. "Im a billionaire i dont need money" he said "Just do it for fun thennnn" Otoya said exasperated. Reo looked at Chigiri who shrugged "Sure" he said flatly "Its not like we have anything better to do" he said, Reo nodded in agreement.
When they got to the lounge area he saw a couple familiar faces: Karasu, Hiori, Aiku and "Yukimiya?!" He exclaimed. Yukimiya waved "Why so shocked Reo?" He laughed. "Nothing i just didint expect you around them" he said jokingly "Hey! Uncalled for man" Karasu replied shaking his head. "Let's just start already guys.." Hiori said holding back a giggle, everyone nodded in agreement while Otoya was setting down the drinks.
"Right so we'll all do as many rounds as we can and when we cant anymore then the winner wins", The group was silent untill Chigiri spoke up "This is the stupidest game ever, youre already drunk as hell why are you even participating?" He asked confused before continuing "The rules dont even make sense!" He said making Karasu laugh, "What he's trying to say is that we'll all have as many rounds as we can, if you cant keep up then youre out so only the one who can drink the most rounds wins" Reo was internally regretting his decision as gave Chigiri a side eye cursing him for even agreeing to this.
Reo was absolutely battered he couldn't walk straight anymore and was holding on to Chigiri for dear life. Yukimiya was the most sober of the bunch and was calling everyone ubers to get home safely. Before Reo even knew it he was in a car heading somewhere, his head felt like it was spinning as the car suddenly stopped, he looked up to see the driver looking back at him "This is your stop lad" he said with a judgmental stare, "I'll open the door for you" the driver said with a sigh. As Reo stumbled out he recognized the door of his house 'Nagi!' He thought as he walked over to the door.
Nagi stared at the clock it was already past 11 and Reo still hadn't come back, he was starting to get impatient. He missed Reo and couldnt sleep if he didint know where he was. Nagi jolted at the sound of the doorbel going, as he stood up he heard the person knocking "I'm almost there wait" Nagi said while walking to the door.
As he opened it he saw a familiar face "Reo!" Nagi said joyfully, "mmmm Nagiiiiii" Reo slurred opening his arms leaning in for a hug. He reeked of alcohol "Are you drunk?" Nagi asked to which Reo shook his head "ofcourse 'm not Nagi" he said with a smile. Nagi closed the door behind Reo and tried pulling away from his grasp but Reo didint let him "Nooo don't go Nagi i love you so muchhh" he said tightening his grip on the other boy, Nagi went red and looked away "I love Reo too.." he said flustered. "You're so red! Are you embarrassed?" Reo asked teasingly, "im not embarrased" Nagi said hiding his face "You're so pretty Nagi" Reo said abruptly letting Nagi go.
Nagi lowered his hands that were covering his face taking a good look at Reo, "Is- is that my shirt?" He asked surprised. Reo giggled "Yeaah you look so goood in it so i wanted to wear it for myself" he said dragging out his words. Nagi was taken aback, his heart fluttered as he looked at Reo who started blabbering about something that happened at the party. 'Reo is so pretty' Nagi thought staring at Reo who was giggling at his own story.
"Nagiiiii" Reo whined leaning his head against the door "What's wrong Reo?" Nagi asked tilting his head, Reo looked down "Come closerrr" he said. Nagi did, their faces were about 5 centimeters away from each other now. "What's wrong?" Nagi repeates again. Reo leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He laughed looking at Nagi who was in shock "You- why? I- What?" He said confused his heart was beating so fast and he was stumbling over his words. "I love you" Reo said winking as he walked past Nagi into the bedroom. Nagi stood there dumbfounded trying to process what had just happened.
