Summary
Regulus gets the call on a Thursday morning.
“Your husband is in the hospital,” the person on the phone says.
Regulus looks up, confused. “My husband?”
“Yes, he is in a stable condition,” the person says.
Regulus’ husband is sitting across from him at the table.
“My husband is with me,” Regulus says, “you must have the wrong person.”
“Mr. Potter?” The person says, and the world seems to shift.
Regulus Black thought he had gotten his life where it wanted to be. He's married, happy, or so he tells himself. Everything comes crashing down when he learns of what has happened to James Potter, the husband he divorced.
