Summary
Going back to Hogwarts was supposed to be easy. It was supposed to be simple: in-and-out, grab your NEWTs and go. But it was Hogwarts, and she was Hermione Granger. And nothing ever seems to be easy anymore.
When a placement with the Ministry arises, and Wizarding Britain starts falling deeper into a recession following the war, Hermione tries to do all she can to stay afloat. But things are growing darker, and the Death Eaters might not be as defeated as they seemed. Throw in Draco Malfoy, and a courage that seems to be failing her, and 'staying afloat' is proving more difficult than she first thought.
