It was a normal day on normopolis,and on it's hight school everything was calm,well no that was a lie, nothing is ever calm on a hight school,but It was as calm as It could be,thats better
It was chem class,an optional subject that pepole wouldn't normally pick but It had pepole regardless, on this particular class they where two students Who stood out,for very different reasons,mia Wilson Who was an A's student,was also class president and kept her school history cleaner than soap,she was also described as a very nice girl by her peers and a great student by her teacher,a goody two shoes if you liked.but standing Next to her was mia's best friend Kai,Who was kind of not that good,he was certanly annoying and extreamly talkative in classes,his grades where the definition of 'mhe',and the only reason he had aplied to this subject was to be whit his best friend even tought he didn't like chemestry,he was fun to hang out whit tought, at least thats what his Friends say,these two had been Friends since elemantary,inseparable since,they made such a scene last year when they realized they wouldn't go to the same class,now they where both 15 and they where still inseparable
And as usual in every class before the teacher Arribes everyone was talking whit their Friends about really anything to pass the time, everyone exept that boy on the front of the class that always seated alone,but the class had to go quiet in question of miliseconds when the teacher arribed
His name was daninski,he was the kind of teacher you hate for being an ass when your young,adults tell you you will understand him when you grow Up,and when you grow Up you still think he was lame as hell,out of all the teachears in this school daninski was probably the most feared by his students, and today he came to do what he does best,annoy the heck out of his students
"As i see that your grades are,quite honestly the worst ive had in my class ever,only two of your classmates get good grades,i Won't say theyr names they know Who they are" he said walking a little trought the classroom "so to save your dumb little heads from failing my class,i decided to make one of those non-individual projects that Will last a week and Will be greadable"
It was probably the first moment in history somone was ever gonna be exited for something daninski said,even less the whole class(minus one student Who seemed like he was going to rip the table out whit his bare hands)
"In groups of three"daninski said ruining the mood for everyone that was present"you have a minute to make the groups,if you don't ill do them myself" needless to say that everyone grouped togheter as fast as they could,mia and Kai where about to beg daninski to let them go alone since they didn't know pepole in that class that well,but apparently daninski wasn't having that and he approached them whit a student,to be exact the one Who was alone every class and Who seemed that he was gonna kill somone at the mention of groups "since your two,and he is alone you Will all go togheter,his name is Finn,be nice." That last part was honestly directed to Kai and he knew It
Red hair,red eyes,a leathear jacket and way to many pins,his name was Finn takeda,he didn't get along whit the teachears and yet he was the best student of his class,he also had problems on making Friends,being that he only had one,Who was absolutly the most threatning person in the school and had avoided him so much mockery to his face (not so much to his back),mia and Kai didn't know him that much,as a matter of fact this would probably be the first time they interacted
He just gave them a small wave and sat at their table,program of the experiments in hand,you see normally one week projects are ONE project during the whole week,but since this was daninski were talking about he had put three (one for each day of chemestry they had starting today since It was friday and then the Next week) and told them to pick the order,the class decided to go for the simplest one to start being a volcano eruption,which seemed really silly to them because this was a elementary school project,but who could complain about being given something easy
The group of three decided to divide the tasks to go faster since they only had an hours to make It,Kai would go find any recipient that was safe enough to put the project in(because sure they could make an ACTUAL volcano but his was not art class and that thing would be at least a week long and they barely had an hour),mia would document the project (yknow recording, writing,and making the stuff you had to give to the teacher so you could have the actual grade of doing It correctly),and Finn would do the solution that determines if they got it right or if they got it wrong
And when they got it togheter everything was great,a good container,every step of the solution written neatly,and well of course the solution, everything was great It just needed something to finish
"Alright so now we add this little thing and the project is over"said Finn taking out a White pill from a massive container that had lots of them while mia set Up the camera
"Just one?seems a little low to me" Said mia hiting play while Kai went to analyze the container and held It in his hands
"Well yeah,as i followed the instructions It tecnichlly only needs one,two perhaps if It doesn't have a relativly strong reaction but no more" said Finn Who put down the pill to put protection glasses just in case the reaction was way faster than he expected
Meanwhile a certain blue haired boy was approaching the chemical mix pot of pills in hand
"Nha man,mia's right,the more the better!" Before any of the other two could react he threw almost the whole bottle,being stopped last seconds by mia Who got him away
Meanwhile Finn just stod perplexed about how somone could be so impulsive and stupid before covering himself the best he could whit a la coat before It all exploded
To say the laboratory was just trashed would be not accurate,It was compleatly covered in the yucki sticky substance that the volcano did,It almost looked like a recently snowed valley,the word being almost
Needles to say theyr ended in the ofice whit daninki give minutes later, normally when a specific profesor calls students from their class they do so in their class,but for obvious reasons now wouldn't be the case
Mia and Kai where sitting close to each other while Finn got his chair away from both,sending them death glares ocasionally, especially to Kai tought
"Alright so...this Will be...a negative grade on your expedient,aside from the one from the project i mean" said daninski reading off a paper,if the kids where being honest they couldnt tell you if he was about to laugh at them or Scream at them,perhaps both,mia was horrified to hear that statement,she was an A+ student! She couldnt have a negative grade!she had worked so hard to have an exeptionally clean expedient and now all her hard work was gonna be trown away "class detention for a week..which i find little for the mess you did" Finn sighed in desesperation for that,he didn't have many Friends,to say litterally just one,and they didn't see each other if It wheren't outside of school or on break,so he would be spending all the days alone for a week,whith the two pepole that got him in this situation,great "and you Will be staying all of today and saturday cleaning the mess you made on my laboratory!"
Kai got Up to say something but was quickly pulled back to his chair by mia "don't you daré" was the only thing he needed to hear,mia didn't usually get mad,even less at him,but guess he fucked Up this time
As soon as they got out and daninski went away,presumably to the Storage closet to get stuff to clean out the mess whith,Finn pulled out his phone and started typing
"You shouldn't take that out,you know it's not allowed,you could get in trouble" said mia going to him while he was just sending It,to be honest she catched herself tying to read since she was curious of what he was risking trouble for
"Yeah because the trouble i got,or well,WE got thanks to HIM isn't enough!" He said pointing to Kai Who took personal offense to that,how daré he "he only had one job! And he still managed to fuck is Up, doing something that he wasn't supposed to be doing may i add"
When their teacher came back and have the cleaning supplies they would need he only said "i would tell you to watch Up for my favourite stuff,but i don't trust leaving It whit you delinquents so ill take It home" he said grabbing a box full of scientific material "you can go home when the school is going to close,untill then clean It all Up!" And just like that he left,leaving the three teenagers behind in that classroom
Even tought he didn't make the mess Finn was the first one to start cleaning,headphones on and phisycally getting away as Possible from the other two pepole of the room
"I think you should say sorry Kai" mia said trying to sound as calm as posible, because honestly her best friend ruining her perfect grading was not on her to-do list
"Sorry mia...It really wasn't my intention...to be honest i tought that guy was exagerating when he said we only needed one,but im trully sorry for Messing up your grades.."
"Apologies accepted,now you have to apologize to him" even tought that would have been of common sense to anybody whit some type of working brain Kai was not one of those,he sighed annoyed as loudly as he could "come on Kai,i only forgave this stunt you pulled because im your best friend,if i where somone Who didn't know you if probably would have shouted to you so hard that you would be deaf right now,so be nice an go apologize" Even if the bluehead tried to go against the idea his dear best friend had already pushed him Next to the 'newcomer' and left him there whit a look that said 'either you do this or im gonna be really mad' so he at the very least had to try He tried calling him at least five times,even tought he was litterally Next to him Finn hadn't quite registerd kai's presence,that or he genuenly dgaf,so in kai fashion he did what he knew best when interacting whit pepole,invading their space "Hey earth to the punk,can you hear me now?" He said abruptly taking out said punk's headphones,whit mia watching horroriezed at the interaction,to which when finn realized he tried to take them out of his grip and failed miserably collapsing into some kind of large box that was for some reason at one side of the laboratory,placed inside a red transporting kart
When he managed to get Up from the fall an opening sound was Heard,when he looked he saw some Sort of portal,glowing so much It could blind him if he looked for too long,he also Saw how a juicer and an Orange (that where there because of one of the projects they had to do) started elevating from the ground whit the same blue glow of the portal and then directly got sucked into it
"Now what the hell did you do?!" Said Kai approaching finn,mostly to Scream at him and not look at the portal at all
"I didn't do nothing! And even if i did It would be your fault for making me fall!"
Mia on the other hand as the only person whit more than two functional braincells in that group decided to inspect the portal that opened in front of their eyes,and just like that something got out
If mia had to describe It to you,a little tiny 'human shaped' (if you could call It that)that was blue and had a tophat as a face,if that didn't make you Scream your lungs out then you where braver than the other two pepole in the room
"¡Holy fuck what is that thing!?" The blue head stoped the bickering as soon as he spotted the creature come out of the thing they where fighting about in the first place,clinging into Finn as his Life depended on It,the redhead didn't say anything but he tried trowing something at the new appearence,It however crossed directly to the portal
"Well,that will be a new superthing i guess" the creature spoke making the two boys,Who had put themselfs as far away from It as they could,jump a little from the scare
Meanwhile mia Who was barely centimiters away from both the portal and the 'top hat creature' just kneeled down to be at it's hight "what are you supposed to be,i haven't seen anything like this before"
"Oh please don't kneel It makes me feel smaller than i am" mia got Up from her position and looked at that thing whaiting for answers "my name is enigma,i come from a place called kaboom city,where objects have Life and Magic,and i would like you to come whit me"
"That sounds...strange..why do you want us going whit you?" Asked mia looking at the portal and actually wondering how that world would be"
"Well you see,the Major energy of my city,which opened the portal,is right now being handled by a terrible dictator that wants to destroy us all,some extra hands would be useful,but we don't have much time youll need to think quickly,also you two can let go of each other now" enigma said looking at the two boys Who where far from them,they separated and looked at each other disgusted
"Well Guess where going,this is so cool i always wanted to be a superhero!" Kai said approaching the portal "see you on the other side mia!..and finn i guess"
And just like that he was gone "yeah i think this would be a really cool adventure,i never tought as much the whole heroine stuff,but it sounds like It Will suit me" said mia also entering the portal
And then they where two "are you coming whit us?" Enigma asked stepping a step from the portal
"What for? Theyr gonna have their little friend adventure and im gonna be alone,i see no point in going"
"Perhaps their Friends and your not from their group,but that doesn't mean you can't be" the superthing said extending their hand to the boy in front of him Who after checking his back pack to see what he threw and thinking for a second took It whit doubt,and then laughed a little when he realized that he could only hold enigma whit a finger for how tyny their hands where,he wondered if hed become tiny like that
"Just so you know,im only doing this because my criminal record already had violence,i don't want to be accused of kindapping too" enigma stopped for a second at those words but Finn had already entered the portal,so what was done was done,whit a flicker of their wand they cleaned the mess in that place and entered the portal
And so whit all of them in the portal closed,some footsep where Heard before profesor daninski entered the room "alright you troublemakers lets see what you..." The entire laboratory was clean and there was no sight of the kids that did such job
