"Pearl, you make it sound like you don't trust me." She said with a pout, flicking one of her braids over her shoulder.

    "Me saying I don't trust you is making you feel like I don't trust you?" Pearl repeated, titling her head slightly to the side as she asked. For not the first time Gem was reminded of a big puppy. She wondered if she could use one of those suspenders as a makeshift leash.
