Summary
This book follows 2 dragons. The siblings Ash and Ember, and Pitch the specter. The story has been in the oven now (Wink) for a very, very long time and I have an ending with full character arcs planned.
This story will be a more mature take on the WOF world driven mostly by OC adult characters Roughly 21 in human years. Its going to have its own new type of soul magic too (NOT ANIMUS)
Ash is a chronically sick flameless dragon (With Revamped interpretation of what flameless twins can be) He's an archeologist looking into the ancient past of Flamescales and their flameless siblings, eager to discover the truth at any cost, before his failing body cut his research short, after an accident he finds a kindred spirit waiting for him in the space between life and death... offering ash the archeological discovery of a lifetime as well as a second chance in exchange for her revival.
Ember is a firescales and her story is a more thorough and real exploration of the emotional consequences of such an interesting power. She knows Ash isn't long for the world and tried clinging to him before nearly ruining everything between them. Now, she desperately looks for companionship before her first and last reason to exist dies.
