Sky woke gasping for breath, frantically looking around the room for his attackers, for Gun. The panic slowly receded as he became aware that he was in his room. There was no Gun; he wasn’t being held down by Gun’s friends; it was just him, alone in his room. It was just another nightmare.
“Why did I dream about that time again?” He sobbed as he brushed the tears from his eyes, “When will I forget this fucking nightmare?”
Shaking, tears streaming from his eyes, Sky sat up at the sound of the wind howling outside. He was terrified that they would show up any moment and his dream would become real again.
Reaching for his phone, hands shaking, he dialed the only person he wanted most in this moment. The only person he wanted to have wrap his arms around him. The only person who made him feel safe. The only person who could chase the nightmares away. Prapai.
My take on what might have happened between Prapai and Sky after Sky had his nightmare and called Prapai to come back from the races.
