Zoey held Mira's shaking and tensing form close, doing her best to make the other woman comfortable.
Mira was having one of the worst fibromyalgia flare-ups she'd had in years. Every inch of her body ached, and a deep fatigue overwhelmed her.
"I've got you" Zoey said softly. It didn't magically fix anything, but the company made Mira feel ever so slightly better, at least mentally.
And that was enough.
