It was raining, Aether could also hear the wind the harsh howls made him thankful he was indoors curled up in several blankets, on a couch the only heat and light source the burning fireplace.
Aether sighed and rubbed his hands together as if that would bring any more heat to them,"it's still cold.." he muttered looking out the window the rain kept going he sighed wondering when his lover would return, sure he could call for him, but out here in one of his many temporary homes.
"Mm.. I mean..would he even come if i called" he spoke softly, mostly to himself tightening the blankets around himself,"mm..Xiao.." he whispered.
A beat and a flicker of green flame later and there he was golden orbs staring at the other eyes narrowed at first then softened in concern.
Xiao spoke his voice usually soft yet firm,"You need to wrap up more, that fireplace is not going to warm you up completely" Xiao moved closer to the other.
Aether gasped as the others much warmer body pressed against his, Xiao's arms pulling him closer,"Reckless fool" he heard Xaio mutter and pull the blankets more around both of them.
"You came?" Aether spoke voice soft, he felt Xiao tug him closer.
"You called" was the soft spoken answer from Xiao.
