   Summary

   The Hyakki-Yakou is over. The yokai have won. As the new undead emperor Rui watches his decadent reign of Shin-Taisho begin, his generals set off to indulge in their selfish desires. The Red Oni Minori goes to the hunt for the exorcist who had stolen her arm — and her heart. The Blue Oni Toya searches for the reclusive author of his favourite novel, unsatisfied with the delayed chapter.
   The global catastrophe turns disturbingly personal for Akito, when he finds himself in a gilded cage of his most devoted (and terrifying) fan's making. As his creation continues by force, the writer's new patron begins to crave not just the story but the very soul of its creator.
