   Matikanefukukitaru has had a pretty good career, all things considered. After all, fortune has always been on her side - well, except for all the times that it hasn't. Nothing a visit to a shrine couldn't fix though, usually. Alas - fate had other plans for her.

   After yet another defeat, Dantsu Flame thinks she might just be the unluckiest umamusume of all. But when her path crosses with that of Tracen's most superstitious eccentric, she begins to wonder: how much is written in the stars, and how much can she change with her own legs?

   Matikanefukukitaru might just hold the answer.

   If Dantsu can make any sense of what she's saying, anyway.
