   Summary

   Caustic only fears what he does not understand. A scientist, a master in death, a controller of life. The natural cycle of all living things.
   But the unemotional Spectral is supernatural and houses a feral, undead spirit of all things, shattering the boundaries of his knowledge.
   She claims to not have full control of the ghost that empowers her. After the ghost seizes control of Caustic's body and puppets him into Spectral's room during one night, he resolves to study her closely and figure out exactly who and what she is.
