Colorful lights rose from her phone as Saki played "untitled", quickly being engulfed by them, as usual, Leo/Need scheduled band practice at their sekai, it wasn't really uncommon as they often did when the weather was awful, they simply didn't want to risk getting sick as today it had been raining all day.
As soon as her vision cleared from all the colorful shards around her, it was made clear to her that... this wasn't her sekai at all, in fact...
this sekai was awfully empty!!!
Saki's head turned in confusion, the whole sekai's landscape was nothing but simply depressing, there was not a single piece of furniture visible, the sky was a gray-ish tone and the only interesting thing in the distance was a small river, thoughts started flooding Saki's head.
What is this place?
Is this the school sekai?
What happened to it?
No... it simply can't be!!! the school sekai is lively and relaxing!!! icchan and the other are nowhere to be seen too...
Her train of toughts was quickly interrupted by a sound
Sobs echoed through the sekai's empty atmosphere, startling Saki and making her jump slightly. Her first instinct being to quickly begin pacing around the place hoping to find the source of the sobs guiding herself through the Sekai with the sounds, her steps becoming increasingly more and more rushed as she heard the sounds becoming clearer and clearer.
Each step guiding her closer to the person that might need her.
After what felt like hours of walking around endlessly in an unknown place, she finally found this person
Hiding behind a tall post, there she was, a distinct pink haired girl, makeup running down her face as she completely broke down into ugly tears, and Saki couldn't help but wonder what happened to her, or even, who did this to her?
"Excuse me? is this your Sekai?" Saki spoke without thinking, her bubbly voice contrasting the whole atmosphere, and essencially scaring the girl, who looked straight at her with her dead eyes, dread and raw fear flooding them as the mysterious girl stood up quickly as ever and ran away from Saki, Saki quickly perked up and started running after her, stammering a mix of "wait!" and "i didn't mean to scare you!"
And suddently, they were both running across the Empty place, Saki kept tripping over the werid triangular-shaped rocks, while the girl dodged them effortlessly, like if she came there often, answering Saki's question.
Saki's running came to a sudden stop as the mystery girl slowed down, catching her breath and refusing to look at Saki.
She eyed the mystery girl up and down, noticing her shirt that read in giant letters "2 - B", ressembling the shirt student wear at school festivals, a feeling of dread quickly setting in her guts, not knowing what to do, she remembered a strategy Tsukasa used to do to comfort her on many of her hospital stays, while she sobbed, Tsukasa would just silently hug her, and it would instantly make her feel better.
And so she did, before the other girl noticed, Saki was hugging her from behind, feeling the unknown girl's breathing slow down a bit, before she turnet to her and started sobbing loudly in her shoulder.
Saki's shoulder became increasingly wetter ad the other's tears stained it, she could clearly hear the pain in each one of them, she could clearly notice the redness around the other's wrists, and that made her curious about one thing.
"Mind if i ask what happened?"
The girl's face lifted from Saki's shoulder, and saki's cheeks quickly rose a light pink "Woahhh!!! you really are cute! yknow... cute girls like you shouldn't be crying like this!"
The other's face showed surprise, before she brought her hand up to clean her tears and chuckled a bit, mumbling something along the lines of "cute... right" The girl cleared her throat a bit, before speaking once again "i-i-" her voice began to break once again "i just want to be accepted for who i am" then, once again, she started sobbing once again, Saki was taken by surprise by this, but she just kept her in the embrace, the Mystery girl whispering a word to Saki in between sobs.
"I want to dissapear, it would be for the best"
Saki pulled away from the embrace accidentally pushing The other a bit to hard, before she could run away once again Saki spoke up towards the other
"Then, if you want to dissapear, atleast let me dissapear with you!"
The girl's eyes watered even more, and she stuttered back a shaky answer "b-but you're really nice? i see no reason for you to dissapear but-"
"No buts! i also see no reason as to why you should dissapear, and yet you are saying this nonsense!" Saki quickly gasped, remembering something "also, whats your name!?" Her tone startling the other a bit
"Mizuki..." Mizuki shruddered, before looking at Saki's eyes, full of hope and life, and a feeling or warmth she could only dream of in k-dramas
"I want you to live a nice life!!! cute girls deserve that!" *she gave a bright smile to Mizuki who was recieved with a question
"do... you think im a cute girl?"
Saki gave a genuine laugh to Mizuki's question, before holding her hand and beamed with emotion
"are you joking? You are the cutest girl ever!"
Mizuki's eyes quickly gleamed with hope too.
She has neve felt happier in her life.
