"all new students please be assigned to your dorms! if you're not sure where you're staying, please check your email and it's always okay to ask a senior!" the senior, phuwin, said in front of the hall. fourth listened and checked his email once again. there his room was; maple hall, room 177.
"we will hold our activities in about two hours since we want you all to get along with your roommates. juniors are warned to not come outside of their own halls," senior phuwin said. fourth's head spun off what he could do with a stranger he barely even knows.
"fourth, are you assigned close to me?!" satang asked excitedly. they've been bestfriends since highschool, and they were really hoping they'd be atleast neighbors.
"no.. i'm at maple," fourth said in a small voice. he wasn't scared, he thinks; he's just nervous that it's their first day apart, ever.
"oh! i go to oak.." satang looks at fourth, though he tries to convince him that it's okay.
"its okay, fourth! we can still go to each other's hall, mkay?" satang said and received a smile from fourth. they then parted ways, and fourth found himself infront of maple 177.
fourth knocked on the door and slowly peeked his head to the room. he was analyzing the room and finding half of the room was already filled. "hello?" fourth softly whispered, entering the room and closing the door very slowly.
"oh, hey! you must be my roommate." that boy said. their gazes met, and oh.. fourth was definitely finding his eyes. it was nothing like he seen before, they were as pretty as the coral reefs in the midst of the sea. "your eyes are very pretty," fourth accidentally said in the middle of his daydreams.
"i'm sorry?" the boy said. it's not like he didn't hear fourth. he did, but he wasn't sure he heard that right. "did you say something about my eyes?" he asked.
"nothing. i'm fourth, by the way." fourth smiled, giving out his hand to the other boy. he thought he'd be greeted, but the boy didn't even meet his hands.
"i'm gemini." that was all.
no smile.
nothing at all.
just that.
