   Still, something compelled Rouge to ask. Maybe it was the suspicion that Shadow hadn't really done anything fun in his life before, maybe it was the desire to share this experience with someone else, whatever it was, she asked: "Care to join me?"

   Rouge invites Shadow to go to a small concert with her. She doesn't expect his answer, and also doesn't expect their little trip to go sideways. She's going to roll with it though, determined to keep her new friend by her side.
