Chapter Text

It was close to midnight on a Saturday, the whole house was asleep, except Scales. He had heard a weird sound coming from Captain's room, almost like one of the portals opening... Wait a portal opening!? 

He ran to his ex-best friends room and opened the door, to see him glowing and shaking. "HOLY FUCK-" Scales shouted before running to him and trying to shake him awake. "Captain wake the FUCK up-" He kept shaking him.

Captain's eyes didn't open, but the glowing effect started spreading to Scales. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck f-"  And seconds later, the light spread to his eyes, and all he could see was bright flashing lights. It was essentially just a regular teleportation process, but this felt dragged out. 

Soon the lights became overbearing, and Scales began to get a headache. He tried letting go of Captain, but found that he couldn't. 

"What the hell is going on!?" His voice was drowned out by sounds of the portal wooshing around his "ears". And moments later, it all went white.

Falling. He was falling. Like every time. Where was he going to end up this time? Captain had no clue. What was that? Sounds like someone screaming... And it's familiar.... like, really familiar... Something he used to hear a lot, especially when there was a spider. OH SHIT SCALES!

Captain's eyes shot open  and he looked around to see himself in a white abyss, but this time Scales was falling right next to him. Scales. One of the people who absolutely, positively, can NOT be with him. "WHAT THE HELL!? WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" He shouted looking at his skeletal "friend". 

"WHY WERE YOU GLOWING!? AND WHERE ARE WE!?" He shouted back. Captain groaned. 

"YOU IDIOT! YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST LEFT ME ALONE, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH YOU WITH ME THIS TIME!" The demon angrily yelled.

"LEAVE YOU!? ARE YOU CRAZY!? I'D PREFER TO NOT HAVE MY FRIEND DIE OR GET TELEPORTED TO SOME OTHER ASSHOLE TRYING TO GET THEIR HANDS ON YOU!" Scales shouted waving his hands around.

"YOU ARE NOT MY FRIE-" He was cut off by the two of them falling onto the floor, very painfully.

 "Owww" Scales  muttered grasping his skull.

"Where the hell did I end up this time? An endless void of nothingness? Ugh god DAMNIT! This is why I don't like you near me! You fucked up the system!" Captain growled pulling his hair. "What the hell were you thinking!?" 

"What do you mean what was I thinking!? I'm sorry, do you want me to explain to your dipshit of a head that you've been kidnapped who knows how many times!? Of course I'm gonna try and save your sorry ass!" He yelled, his horns growing slightly before shrinking back. 

"Oh please, since when did you care?" Captain said waving his hand while rolling his eyes.

"Oh my FUCKING gods not this shit again, how many times do we have to have this conversation, I NEVER STOPPED CARING ABOUT YOU DAMNIT! YOU KNOW THIS! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT FUCKING CHANGED IN YOUR DAMN BRAIN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT POSSESSION IS, BUT WE NEED TO FIX IT!" Scales was rightfully pissed, I mean it wasn't his fault that Captain's bitch of a mother had possessed him for 10 damn years, right? I mean what was he gonna do about it, he tried to fight back.

Captain paused before sighing. "You don't even remember half the shit you did to me." He said coldly.

"No. Not me. Your mother-"

"Don't call that bitch my mom." Captain cut Scales off before he could finish.

"Μ-Μy ǤØĐ ¥ØỮ ŦŴØ ₣-₣ƗǤĦŦ ŁƗҜ€ Δ ΜΔŘŘƗ€Đ ĆØỮƤŁ€!" What kinda voice is that? It's all glitched and amalgamated. 

"Holy shit. Holy fucking shit." Scales whispered.

"Who the hell- Where is this guy?" Captain said looking around before looking up seeing blue strings everywhere on the "ceiling", some holding weird hearts. 

"Δ-Δ ŁƗŦŦŁ€ Ħ-ĦƗǤĦ€Ř." The voice said and the two down below looked up even higher. 

They were met with another skeleton, but this one looked different. Dark grey bones and dark yet colourful clothes. He had blue tear markings on his face, three on each eye. He also seemed to be actively glitching out.

"A victim of the takeover?" Captain asked rhetorically. 

"No. That's Error. Error Sans." Scales muttered.

"Oh you have GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME-" The demon shouted. 

"Ø-Ø-ØĦ ΜΔŇ ŦĦƗŞ ƗŞ Ħ-Ħ-ĦƗŁΔŘƗØỮŞ" The dark skeleton giggled to himself.

Captain looked at Scales with pure fury in his eyes. "Because YOU teleported with me, we are now stuck in an UNDERTALE AU!?" Captain said throwing his hands

"Uh, more like a undertale multiverse..." Scales corrected. 

Captain blinked at Scales a couple times. "MOTHER FUCKER-" He shook Scales' shoulders. "YOU MESSED IT UP AND NOW WE'RE HERE!?" 

"OH COME ON YOU THINK THIS IS MY FAULT!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT UP? MESSED WHAT UP!?" Scales shouted shoving the purple guy off. 

"YOU-" Captain paused before looking back at "Error".  "-I'll explain later." His eyes narrowed at the dark boned skeleton. 

Scales looked at Captain then back at Error. "Right." He said quietly. "Which multiverse is this?" He asked looking at the glitchy skeleton. 

 "Ŵ-Ŵ-Ŵ-Ŵ-ŴĦΔŦ ĐØ ¥ØỮ Μ€ΔŇ???" Error had stopped laughing and was now swinging on his strings, looking confused. "¥ØỮ ΔŘ€ ƗŇ ŦĦ€ ΜỮŁŦƗV€ŘŞ€" He said as if it was common sense.

"Oh for hells sake- They haven't even discovered multiversal travel???" Captain asked rolling his eyes.

Error dropped down from his strings and landed less than gracefully. "¥ØỮ ǤỮ¥Ş ΔŘ-ΔŘ-ΔŘ€Ň'Ŧ ₣ŘØΜ ΔŘØỮŇĐ Ħ€Ř€ ΔŘ€ ¥-¥-¥ØỮ? He asked tilting his head.

"No... No we are not." Scales answered. "We're in the anti-void correct?" He asked. Error now looked even more confused.

"𝓌-𝔀-𝔀𝐚Ɨ𝐓 𝔂Øย Ⓚ𝐍Ø𝔀 𝔀𝓱𝐚𝐓я 𝐓𝓱𝑒 𝐚𝐍𝐓Ɨ ｖ-ｖ-ｖ-ØƗ𝓭 Ɨs?" Error seemed even more confused now, stepping closer to the duo.

"Yeah nah that's all him, I know absolutely nothin of this multiverse." Captain said pointing at Scales.

"Gee thanks for throwing me under the bus, whatever, yes I do know what the anti void is. Quick question, you know anyone by the name ͓̽f͓̽a͓͓̽̽t͓͓̽̽e͓̽?" A glitch seemed to over take Scales' voice when he said Fate. 

Error seemed to tense about that. "𝔂-𝔂-𝔂-𝔂-𝔂Øย Ⓚ𝐍Ø𝔀... 𝑒ｖ𝑒я𝔂𝐓𝓱Ɨ𝐍𝕘...." He said, now looking scared. "𝕃-ᒪƗ丂𝐓𝑒𝐍, 𝔀𝑒 Ć𝐚𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐚ᒪⓀ 𝐚๒Øย𝐓 ⓗ𝑒ⓡ ØⓀ? 𝓌𝑒 Ｊย丂𝐓 Ć𝐚𝐍'𝐓..." He seemed tense. 

"Ok, what about Ink? What's his deal here." Scales pushed the topic, causing more stress to be visible on the glitchy skeleton.

"ⓗ-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱-𝓱𝑒- 𝓌𝔀-𝔀--𝔀𝔀-𝔀-𝔀-𝔀-𝔀-𝑒 " Error started... Buffering? "𝑒яяØя. 𝑒яяØя. 𝑒яяØя. 𝑒яяØя ４❷❷ 丂𝓱ย𝐓Ɨ𝐍𝕘 𝓭𝓭-𝓭-𝓭-𝓭-𝓭-𝓭-𝓭𝓭-𝓭Ø𝔀𝐍..." His voice sounded like that of a computer shutting down, which to be honest, he kind of was shutting down. He soon collasped to the floor and a bar appeared over his head, with a question asking "Would you like to restart 𝑒яяØя ４❷❷???" 

"We crashed him." Scales said looking at the passed out skeleton with concern.

"Correction, you crashed him." Captain corrected Scales.  

Seconds later a black inky portal opened up on the ground near Error's passed out body. Out came another sans, this one wearing brown and beige clothing with a big paintbrush on his back.

"Error! Are you alright babe-" The skeleton paused before looking at the two standing there. Gods the silence was deafening.

"Who are you? New aus? No impossible, I stopped creating... New glitches???" The inked up skeleton seemed to be rambling to himself.

"Look, to save the whole issue here, we are from a different multiverse. Like, really different." Captain said before the skeleton could say more.

"Well actually a whole different Omniverse...." Scales corrected again causing Captain to tense up.

"But this only happens when... Oh no... Oh gods no..." The demon mumbled to himself to where neither of the two skeletons could hear him.

"Omniverse? Multiverse? But there's only us...? Wait wait wait, there's more out there!?" The guy seemed giddy.

"Yes Ink, there are more." Scales said with a chuckle. "It's good to know that this multiverses Ink isn't a complete moron." He sighed shaking his head.

Ink seemed confused but decided to ask more later. "Well new comers, I guess I need to introduce you to the others- WAIT! WHAT DID YOU DO TO RURU- ahem- I MEAN ERROR!?" Ink seemed to just remember his partner on the floor passed out.

"This idiot right here started asking uncomfy questions." Captain said pointing at Scales.

"Like what?" Ink asked glaring at Scales.

"Something about f@t€" Captain winced at the audible glitch in his throat from saying 'fate'. "What the hell, haven't had a minor attack in years!" He said touching where his neck should be but there being an open space.

"F-fa-? N-no... How do you know about her?" Ink didn't dare say her name fully.

"Oh my for fucks sake can someone explain to me who the hell f@_+ is?" Captain's voice glitched out even more.

"Don't! Don't say her name" Ink said fear evidently in his voice.

"Ok ok, but should we wake up him?" The purple haired man asked pointing at Error still passed out on the floor.

"Hold on." Ink touched the menu prompting the question on Error, clicking yes.

The bar slowly began to go up, before reaching full and Error shut up, eye sockets wide open now. "𝐀ⓗⓗⓗⓗ!" He screamed.

"Hey! Hey you're ok! I'm right here!" Ink said hugging Error. "See? I'm here! You're ok!"

Error began to calm down slowly. He then looked back at the other two staring in different directions awkwardly. "ץ-𝔂-𝔂-𝔂Øย Ⓚ𝐍Ø𝔀! ץ-𝔂-𝔂Øย Ⓚ𝐍Ø𝔀 𝑒-𝑒-𝑒ｖ𝑒я𝔂𝐓𝓱Ɨ𝐍𝕘!" He said scared.

"He does. I don't. I'm just here." Captain explained again. "Because I WOULDN'T be here if SOMEBODY hadn't TOUCHED me." Captain whisper yelled glaring daggers at Scales.

"How did you two get here any how?" Ink asked looking at the two.

"That's a Captain question, all I did was try to wake him up." Scales shrugged.

"So your names Captain?" Ink asked looking at the purple guy.

"Yes. And for the record, I'm not telling y'all shit. That's my bid-ness." He said still glaring at Scales.

"Well you kind of have too." Ink said looking a little pissed off from Captain's attitude.

"Yeah whatever, I'm just going to try and open up a portal so we can get the hell out here before... Never mind." Captain cut himself off from the last part, causing him to get looks from the 3 skeletons in the 'room'.

"(ץ-𝔂-𝔂-𝔂Øย 卩яØ๒𝐚๒ᒪ𝔂 𝔀Ø𝐍'𝐓 ๒𝑒 𝐚-𝐚-𝐚๒ᒪ𝑒 𝐓Ø Ø卩𝑒𝐍 𝐚 卩Øя𝐓𝐚ᒪ 𝓱𝑒я𝑒, Ø𝐍ᒪ𝔂 𝕘Ø𝓭丂 Ć𝐚𝐍." Error said now being calmer.

"Wanna bet?" Captain asked looking un bothered before snapping his fingers and a portal opening beside him. "Come on let's go-"

"WHAT THE FUCK???" Scales exclaimed looking at the portal. "How the actual FUCK did you do that? You don't even know anything about this multiverse, no Omniverse! Do you even know where that portal leads!?" Scales said peaking a head through the portal.

"Well hopefully home no?" Captain push Scales out of the way and peaked his head into the frame. "Yoo hoo? Big summer blowout?" He said to no one in particular. 

Inside the portal was a room, a very messy one at that. A door opened in the background and another skeleton walked out, this one wearing edgy clothes and a lot of red. 

"Erk- What the fuck?" He yelped looking at Captain's head through the portal. 

Ink looked into the portal too. "Hi Fell!" He said cherrily. He then closed the portal, pulling Captain out of it first of course. "How the hell did you do that." His voice dropped as he looked at the demon, his eye lights going dark. 

"Uhhh- Hands off the merchandise pal, I'm just a bit powerful is all, and plus it didn't even work." Captain pushed the inky skeleton off of him. 

Ink squinted at Captain, and how he did that with eye sockets the demon would probably never know. "What are you? You aren't a monster." He asked, a bit lighter then before. 

"Hah! Yeah even I don't know some days..." Captain said, but it was hard to tell if he was kidding or not. "I'm a demon, and other things." He answered.

"Yeah, nah you're definitely more then a demon." Scales chuckled rolling his eye lights. 

Ink looked at Error, then back at the two. "What's... What's a demon?" He asked confused, his eye lights turning into question marks. 

Captain looked dumbfounded for a second. "Honestly, it might be better if you don't know what we are..." Captain looked away. 

"Fine, whatever, we'll discuss that later, we need to do another council meeting." Ink said looking at Error, the glitchy skeleton nodding. 

Error then opened a big glitched out portal with little to no effort and nodded his head towards it. "ᵍ-𝕘-𝕘-𝕘-𝕘𝑒𝐓 Ɨ𝐍" He said.
