Chapter 1- The break after a loss
Andrew pov
I looked at my old barren room at the Avengers tower still feeling like moving especially to a dark and criminal invested place like Gotham wouldn't really count as a break but who am I do decide.
We all loaded our own boxes and other boxes in the moving truck when dad said that was everything he turned to happy and told us to get in the car with happy while quad on quad "guess old people really do take their time". After pops got into the car we were on the rode onto our new home.
After a few hours of driving Peter decided to ask "you know you guys want a break from crime after the blib but we're going to a crime invested place with very little sunshine, so why are we going there" dad answer with a simple "I'm doing business with Bruce Wynn so if were moving and taking a break why not go to a place I'm close to my business partner it'll make work a lote more efficient", I groand internally since it'll mean were going to have twice as much paperatsie on us, isn't that just wonderful.
I felt my eyelids get heavy and decided to take a nap befor I fell asleep I saw Peter and Olivia had the same idea
Steve pov-
I looked at the review mirror to see the kids asleep, I take a blank out and drape it around them afterwards I go back to looking at the senary and speak up "you think they'll be mad at the rules after they learn about the rules" Tony answered with "I still feel like your overreacting since happy will be close enough for security, I've put trackers in their clothes or items and they can all fight we saw them especially Andrew since you know what kind of past he had so yea overreacting and I know whatever I say won't change your mind old beliefs are hard to break but seriously your even banning them from relationships especially andrew and Peter so I'll let you decide if they'll be upset" he looked at me like expected a answer so I gave it "I'm not barring my kids Tony not after everything and as for relationships they can date when their 21 since people's brain is completely developed at that age but I'm not letting them go with people who only want one thing from them." Tony just sighed "how do you expect them to learn what to look out for if your restricting learning opportunities Rogers it's the hard part of being a parent and you have to learn to let go they aren't 5 their nearly adults. You can still protect them but this kind of protection is going to drive them away from you" Tony would've continued but happy called out that they have arrived I look at the place after I got out and I shouldn't be surprised but still "really a mansion" Tony replied with "just because you didn't have money doesn't mean we have to suffer trough it, the beds are already set up help me carry them to their rooms" , I opened the car door and took Andrew and peter into my arms and carried them. After we laid them down we decided to let them sleep as we gathered all the boxes and started unpacking.
It was dawn by the eime we finished and woke the kids up fore dinner the kids walked in looking like a mess Andrew's black hair was sticking in evey direction and his blue eyes had dark circles under his eyes with sweatpants and a black hoodie, Peter's slightly curly hair look like it hasn't been combed in a sentry while his brown eyes didn't look as bad as Andrew's you could still see his eyes were tied while Olivia looked more alive except for her blond hair that looked like a rats nest but her green eyes were more focused. As they sit down we started eating but befor the kids could finish and leave to continue sleeping I decided to tell them about the rules "I've been thinking and decided on a few rules there will be no fighting crime fighting is off the table, no going somewhere without happy or informing us and........no relationships, no mates non of that" the dining room was so quite you could hear a pen drop and Andrew decided to break the silence 'the fighting I get it was there the day tou adopted us 2 years ago and the leaving the house but no relationships befor we even so much as had a crush and maybe I'm reading too much inot this but your eyes lingered om me and Peter could it be something to do with us being omega's" Andrew's voice dropped a dangerous tone but Steve didn't as much as flinch but answered with the wrong answer "partly the reason" Andrew answered with an even ysier tone "do I need to remind you that you've met people who could fight and protect themselves despite that or how me and Peter survived and fought with that knowledge but still had enough power to take care of ourselves before you and dad adopted us" just as Steve was about to answer Tony also answer "should I remind you I'm an omeg Roger's so was banner and other people in the avengers- " Olivia spoke up "we finished so we're going to bed goodnight and pops your rules are noted" she spoke with a flat calm voice as they all went to bed afterwards the kids stood up in the middle of the night.

Somwhere in the middle of the night there appeared 3 new faces in Gotham fighting for a balance in the crime invested city but they might mean well doesn't mean they go unnoticed and trusted by the oldest vigilante group
