The clouds that usually filled the sky had dissipated, making it hard for the GCPD to use the Batsignal (patent pending). Despite that, the streets were quiet tonight. The signal really wasn’t needed. For the first time in a long while the good weather and a lull in villainy synced up.

Summary
When Match fails to complete his mission to kill Project Thirteen, he takes the unconscious idiot on the road as he flees for his life, defecting from the organization that created and raised him. He makes it less than three hours before his newfound freedom is stripped away and he is taken into Justice League custody.
Match doesn't have high hopes for the future, especially not once he finds out that he's going to be kept in Batman's custody, but he's at the very least starting to think he might be able to avoid decommissioning if he plays his cards right.
Too bad for him that he's never been any good at cards.
||I just wanted to write pathetic Match. If you don't know who Match is, that is fine. He's a clone of Kon and that's really all you need to know. And also for a note on canon, why would a copy of a copy be closer to the original than the primary copy? That makes no sense. match should be less powerful than Conner on paper and I'll die on that hill. This will have infrequent updates.||

New Chapter: 141 - Clark and Lois deal with the consequences of the havoc Dominus made on their lives and reputations
Novelization of Lois and Clark’s story and relationship, plus Bruce, Diana, Perry, and all, based on Post-Crisis comics. It will start with the comics from the 80s until the current run. (maybe even dabble into the New 52, who knows?)
Sometimes it will follow the comics very closely, sometimes not, sometimes it will expand it, sometimes rewrite it, sometimes cross-reference with other Supermen canon, sometimes add fluff, sometimes add smut (it didn't have much in the early days).
It's very unpretentious writing and it's not supposed to be a super-accurate version either, just a fun ride.

His face is pale. Lips curled up in a grotesque smile. Torn up the cheeks, oozing blood that drips onto the cement floor. One hand rips at his dark hair, greasy and limp over manic eyes. The other hangs at his side, limply clinging to a gun. “Ha ha ha-” Half frantic laughter, half distraught sobs that rattle through his chest.
Between them, the Joker’s body. Blood blossoming around his head. Brain matter spattered on the floor. Smiling. Eyes vacantly staring up at the ceiling.
“Hahahahaha-”
Bruce approaches slowly. Like he’s approaching a skittish animal. “Tim,” he says softly, and the boy blinks at him, still laughing, still sobbing. There are tears in his eyes. “Tim, put down the gun.”

That Tim joked. That Tim deflected. That vigilante hadn’t lost loved one after loved one (friendafterfriendafterfriend)
Because the now Tim had gone quiet.
“I tried to clone you.”
Or: Kon processes the fact that his best friend “tried to make another him" incredibly poorly.
