    Xilonen muttered something under her breath before wiping the whipped cream away with her thumb, making her girlfriend flush in the process.

    “I know the petals are because you drive like a maniac,” Xilonen said, tapping the crushed bouquet. “Explain to me why this end is scorched. These are Brilliant Chrysanthemums, Mavuika. They’re not exactly known for being fragile.”
