    Shockwave finds himself intrigued by the fact that Starscream actually seems to be paying attention to what his presentation concerning an ongoing project. In speaking with him afterward, he finds that perhaps the Vosian isn't as simple-minded as he had written him off as being.

    Starscream wants to know more about that project, and Shockwave wants to know more about Starscream.

    Allowing him to do some reading, Shockwave proposes a mutually beneficial trade.
    A vivisection for an attractive reward.

    Starscream accepts, and they exchange far more than the Decepticon scientist could have anticipated.
