“Well, it depends. Hot or iced?” Jayce offered, foot tapping anxiously against the floor, his nervous habit thankfully being out of sight of anyone on the other side of the counter.
The man chuckled lightly. “It’s fifteen degrees outside. What do you think?”
“You’d be surprised at how many people order iced drinks in the winter,” Jayce mused, “I also wouldn’t do it, but it’s pretty normal.”
