It’s been a while since Bucky and Sam had some time to talk to each other, Especially after Bucky had to “switch sides” because of Val. Even more surprising is the location Val chose for them to have a meeting at. A fancy restaurant.
Both of them were relatively early to their “meeting”
but Bucky arrived about 6 minutes earlier than Sam (although Bucky insisted that it were 7 minutes).
“Seems like the new captain america has a problem with arriving on time” Bucky says jokingly
Sam ignores Buckys stupid remark and tries to put the focus on the reason they’re having the meeting to begin with.
“So, your boss wants to call your "the new anvengers".”
Sam says in a questioning tone
“Jup.” Bucky answers sounding as annoyed as possible
“But you know that that isn’t possible because I have the copyright to the name?” Sam asks.
“Ofcourse I know that, Val gets mad about that fact atleast once a week.” Bucky says full of boredom
“And I wouldn’t even call us that stupid name, I mean we’re just a father and daughter duo, a way worse version of you, me and bob”
“Bob?” Sam asks confused
“He doesn’t really do that much but if he was to do something, most of us be on/in the ground, literally” Bucky says with almost no emotion.
“Okayyy……” Sam says slightly concerned.
“Anyway, what should we eat ?” Sam asks trying to change the subject.
Turns out both already had something, shortly before they arrived at and found out the location of the meeting was the restaurant. So they decided to drink a bit, wich was the worst decision they could’ve made as Sam, found out he forget his keys at home wich meant that he had to sleep at Buckys place, wich was the headquarters of the new avengers.
They slowly made their way to Buckys room, where they “unfortunately” had to share a bed. As both of them laid down Bucky was starting to get rather cling, as once he fell asleep, he started hugging Sam from the side.
“On your left” Bucky says, making it seem like he’s not quite as asleep, as Sam thought he is.
“No you’re not, you’re on my right” Sam says quietly, not wanting to test if Bucky was really asleep.
Shortly after, Sam closed his eyes and fell asleep. When he woke up the next morning, he heard someone screaming in fear. When he went to investigate, he was greeted by the sight of Bucky chasing after someone who appeared to match the description of bob.
“HE TOOK A PICTURE OF US WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING!” Bucky screams at Sam, obviously wanting his help in catching bob.
“Oh…” says Sam looking at his watch and deciding to sleep for another few hours.
Buckys hunt for his “photographer” went on for another hour, even almost leading to the void making an appearance.
