Chapter Text
“Long ago, millions of universes were born. And with these universes, came The Centre. The Centre connected to every single universe. And this is where I was born.
My name is Magick. I couldn’t understand who I was or my purpose. There were no others like me. In the Centre I built a shelter, where I hoped to bring others like me to this place. But instead of others like me, I attracted a different type of people.
They had lives. Although some of their lives were hard, they weren’t alone. I had no choice but to bring them into the shelter. Over time, through struggle and conflict with the people who had a hard time co-existing, found peace.
But this peace was cut short.
A deadly infection had broken out in the Centre.
And I had to save everyone. This is both their story and mine.”

Through the halls of the shelter, endless doors covered the walls. Crow.T.Robot, from the MST3k universe, walked through the hallway, heading straight for a certain room.
He stoped in front of the door. His usual easy-going look was replaced with worry. He knocked on the door.
“Lolbit? You’ve been in your room for a few days. Are you okay?” He spoke up. There was no answer. “Bitty?” He asked again. The door was already open.
He hesitantly stepped in and found Lolbit sitting in the corner of her bed, wrapped in blankets and sheets. Her pupils were a bright red instead of the usual white. And a string of her own blood dripped from her mouth.
“I-I’m fine…” Her voice sounded hoarse. Crow stepped closer to the bed and sat on the edge, facing her.
“You don’t look fine! You look like have Covid and the author’s fever rolled into one…” He examined her even more, and saw the blood dripping from her snout. “Is that blood?!”
He backed away, disgusted, but his worry grew. “Should I tell someone?” He asked her, but immediately knew he didn’t have to ask.
“Trust me, Crow! I’m fine!” She got up and stepped closer. “Don’t tell anyone!” Something about her tone sounded unusually threatening. Crow was scared, but he didn’t know exactly why. He ran out of her room, but heard her heavy footsteps chasing after him.
In Lolbit’s universe, she was programmed to kill. But when she got to the Centre she was reprogrammed to act peaceful. Crow had his back against the wall, trying to catch his breath. He had never seen her act so hostile, especially when he just wanted to help.
“Are you okay?” Crow turned his head to see Amy Rose, who had become the shelter’s nurse.
“Something’s wrong with Lolbit. Really wrong.”
