Summary
Erik Lehnsherr is a grumpy, old, fisherman who merely lives to await his dying days. Tending to a lighthouse and providing for his teenage twins, Pietro and Wanda, he spends his days in preferred solitude. After the loss of his wife ten years prior, Erik has sworn off of love.
One stormy night, while out at sea, he unexpectedly finds himself entranced by a siren with haunting pitch black eyes and crystalline blue skin, who calls himself Charles.
Charles Xavier has lived his entire life in the dark, cold deep seas. Rarely venturing to the surface, he spends his days tending to a school of shallow-water fishling children whom he has taken under his wing. Despite it all, he has a deep fascination to humans, yearning for something more than his lonely days.
And then the two meet.
