Summary
In the dying days of Imperial Japan’s occupation of Korea, Cheongmyeong, the kept boy of an old cruel general, tempts fate and God by trying to scheme and seduce his way out of his situation. He thinks he’s found the solution to his problems when he falls in with a liberation group and their terrifyingly honest leader Dohun but it’s never quite as easy as that.
