The world has changed. For centuries vampires were hidden from humans, having their own secretive hideouts where they went to. Some of them,if not all, were hunted down by a person who was half vampire for his mother had been bitten by a vampire when he was a baby inside her womb. Like the vampires he killed and destroyed, he had their speed and agility and endurance and regenerative healing. He was a highly skilled individual known only as Blade. He had a few small allies that help him kill vampires, but otherwise he worked alone;taking down a new breed of vampires known as "Reapers" and then eventually killing Dracula himself.
Another equally skilled individual who's been around for centuries killing creatures called Lycans and werewolves has retreated to an unknown location with her daughter. Her name was simply Selene. She had once been a young innocent human, but became a vampire when her parents were slaughtered one night at their family's farm.Viktor, a vampire elder, had taken her and had adopted her as his own daughter. When she found out the truth twenty years later, she killed him after helping out a human named Michael escape a group of lycans who were after him. However in the midst of it, Michael still ended up being bitten by lycan called Lucien. What she wasn't expecting was falling for Michael nor was she planning on turning Michael into a hybrid either as she herself was forced to bite him. After killing her adopted father Viktor, Selene and Michael were forced to be on the run for another elder vampire,the first of the vampires named Marcus, was after them. Selene and Michael ended up killing Marcus as well as the first werewolf William, Marcus's brother after Selene had spoken to Alexander Corvinus who was the first immortal to ever live and the father of all vampires and lycans. He had her drink his blood which allowed to her to heal faster than she already could as well as the ability to walk in sunlight. After that Selene and Michael continued to be on the run from other vampire clans that wanted them dead. Several years later, Selene woke up in a facility in London to discover that while she was kept in the facility as Subject 1,the world had become aware of vampires and lycans and their ongoing war. She broke out and sought out Michael who was Subject 3, but in her process of searching for him she found a young girl instead who was called Subject 2. She reluctantly helped the young girl who was named Eve with the help of a vampire called David who was apart of a vampire clan hidden from society. When David brought both Eve and Selene to the hidden location where the clan of vampires were, their elder Thomas immediately saw them as a threat and they also quickly discovered that Eve was Selene and Michael's daughter;an unusual hybrid mixed of the Corvinus strain as her eyes turned black but with blue rings around the pupil and her skin turned blueish gray just like Michael's had. She was also stronger than even the evolved lycans and killed a doctor named Dr Jacob Lane that was using the blood of evolved lycans to make himself and his son Quint into a new type of lycan. Selene killed Quint however and then her and Eve fled. Many years later after that, Selene was on her own having been separated from her daughter Eve since humans as well as lycans and vampires were after her. She was eventually reunited with David and together they traveled to a Northern vampire clan to hatch a plan to kill an evolved lycan called Marius. When she arrived there, she discovered that there was a vampire who was conspiring against her and had her subdued because the woman wanted Selene's blood for herself. When Selene came to and managed to get out of the massive cage where she had been training the other members of the clan, she found out that the vampire woman was in an alliance with an evolved lycan named Marius who was the vampire woman's lover. Selene also fought him when he attacked the castle with his group of evolved lycans. Outside the castle on the frozen ice below it, Marius however overpowered her and killed her. One of the Northern vampires took her body to a pool of water to bring her back to life. It not only ressurected her, but it caused her to become much more than what she already was. Once she was brought back, she rejoined the battle with Marius and his lycan hoard and she successfully killed him after discovering that the reason he was so powerful and wasn't like the other lycans was because he had killed Michael and used his blood. She left the North coven with David as their leader and was reunited with her daughter Eve.
In another area a viral outbreak had occurred where it caused humans to develop vampire-like abilities and powers called hemopaghs. One of the women who had worked with the scientists and the government sadly lost her husband to the disease however government officials used it on her thus turning her into a hemopagh. Her name was Violet. She was extremely unique with her abilities and killed several government officials while she searched for a cure. Along the way she helped a young boy who simply was called Six. After she had killed the man behind the disease who was the same as her and she made sure that Six was alright, she left.
Many many many years have gone by since everything took place. Blade is once again on his own on the search for more vampires to eradicate, Selene and Eve are traveling together but still avoiding groups of vampires and evolved lycans that try to seek them out to kill them, and Violet is also on her own hunting down other government officials who had created the damned disease for creating hemopaghs. What none of them are aware of is that a new group of vampires and lycans and other hemopaghs have risen. Ones that have come together to survive against the ongoing onslaught from humanity.
