   Summary

   Azure heads to Urithiru to find Nighblood, but instead finds herself appointed the head of the cobalt guard. She catches the interest of a peakspren, but is hesitant to from a nahel bond. She deals with her own past and grief, as well as her own sexuality.
   Jasnah tries to keep Alethkar together through the struggles of being its new queen. She is also grieving the loss of her brother, and trying to keep the rest of her family safe.

   This fic deals with both characters' grief and senses of responsibility. As well as their individual family dynamics.
