   Summary

   Her eyes are drawn to him the second he steps foot in the room and not an ounce of hesitation befalls him as he continues toward Anne.

   “Aramis,” Athos warns.

   “Shut up, Athos.” Aramis calls over his shoulder, his eyes never leaving Anne’s.

   It is the first time courage has found her today and Anne takes the last step that’s needed to be in Aramis’ arms.
