Shiver closed her fan shut upon hearing Marie's question. "You wish to know how the Hohojiro Clan does their work at taming as the Splatlands most renowned shark tamers?" She said, making sure they did not mishear her request. Marie nodded, twirling her umbrella prop repeatedly. Shiver crossed her arms and closed her eyes for a moment to consider it. On one hand, the ways of shark taming were not exactly confidential so they weren't top secret. On the other hand, they were still very... private with the teachings of shark taming. They hesitantly nodded at Marie. A bright gleam of happiness filled Marie's eyes.
"Thank you," Marie thanked, "I tried looking libraries for research books but.."
"
Abruptly, they replied, "you won't find shark taming information in any books. It's not confidential information but it is not exactly custom to let non-clan members know our traditions."
"I see, that makes much more sense," she mumbled, "now that I think about it, I think Neo found something on one of those scrolls..."
Shiver chuckled. "Maybe, but we can check that later," they added, "now, you might want to take notes." When she glanced back, Marie already had a notebook and pencil. "Oh, prepared I see," she grinned.
"I bring my notebook with me to most places," she replied, chuckling.
"I see... well, it starts like this..."
Later...
Marie chuckled as Shiver finished off the explanation. "Thanks a lot. I don't know what I'd do if I weren't close with you."
