Frye held a cold, metal bucket in the studio filled about halfway with scarlet red paint. It was early December, and the holidays were approaching fast, so she had to start decorating the studio! Of course, Shiver was also there for two reasons. The first one, of course, being that they were helping out Frye. Of course, also the fact that she had to keep Frye under responsible adult supervision.
Was that fair to her? Not at all! She didn't need to be watched over like a little kid! ...but in hindsight, the company was nice. Besides... it would've sucked to repaint the studio all alone. I mean, seriously, who would want to repaint an entire studio without any help?
"Thanks again for helping out, Shiv'!" Frye smiled. She dabbed the paintbrush in the bucket once more before sliding it out, painting a thick, ruby red stroke on the TV's outermost frames.
Shiver held a bucket of viridescent green paint, holding it tight in the grip of her vermillion red fingertips. She glanced back at Frye, a smile on her face. "Of course, anytime!" She grinned, "I can't let you do all this by yourself, can I?"
"Haha, I guess not," she chuckled back in response. She drew another thick stroke of the cherry-like colored paint, wiping the paint on the frames with the painted bristle tips. Frye set down the paint before taking a few steps away, trying to see the current progress. "Wow, we... still have a lot to get done."
Shiver chuckled lightly, sitting the green paint down next to the red paint, which now sat in between the green and white paint. "That's true but-"
Before they could finish their sentence, Frye stumbled backwards and fell, knocking over the paints. Within moments, all three paint buckets tumbled over, spilling their contents... all over Frye. "Aw crud! I didn't mean to do that..."
However, instead of annoyance or anger, Shiver lifted her up off the ground. "Are you alright?" They asked.
"I'm fine," she mumbled.
"Good. I think you look quite nice in red, white, and green," she smirked. Frye blushed a moment before the duo burst into laughter. "Cod, not a day goes by where something doesn't go horribly wrong," they added, snickering. "But... I wouldn't change it for the world."
"Me neither! We're in the heart of chaos city. What good would it be without some chaos?"
