Cory and Rief get Ice Cream and Rief had to pay for it because Cory forgot his wallet (lmao sucks to suck loser /j)
Rief stood in line at the ice cream shop next to an extremely hyper, and happy, Cory. There are two people when it comes to waiting in line. 1: The (semi) patient one, who doesn't mind waiting as long as they can pre-occupy themselves. 2: The impatient one who cannot wait at all, no matter how hard you or they try to preoccupy them.
Take a wild guess at who is who in this scenario.
Anywhom, Rief simply just read off the menu to keep himself preoccupied. Meanwhile, it looked like Cory was going to explode into confetti. Like, any moment, he would just explode like a pinata.
"Cory, do you know what you're going to get yet?" Rief asked.
The moment he asked that, Cory froze and looked like he just mentally clocked out. "Uhhhhhhhhhh, no but that's a good idea probably," he replied after a good minute. Rief sighed. Yeah, that sounds about right. Super excited to get ice cream but doesn't think about what ice cream flavor to get.
"That's nice, Cory," he sighed. Rief was gonna get strawberry ice cream, truly the best flavor of ice cream.
"Ez, I'll get the best flavor!"
"And to you, that is?" Rief said, lowkey snickering. Did he know Cory's favorite ice cream flavor? Yes. It doesn't take too much to figure that out. I mean.
Look at him.
"Chocolate, duhhhh," he snickered. Point and case.
Cory just looks like a chocolate ice cream lover.
"Got it. Sprinkles or no sprinkles?"
"Rainbow sprinkles 🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈."
"Saw that coming also," he replied. Cory, very predictable person. At least, when it comes to ice cream.
After some standing around and waiting, they approached the counter. Once more, Cory looked like he was bursting at the seams in excitement.
Anyways, time skip foward a bit and they get their ice cream and KISS /nsrs 🥹 (they also get ice cream for Faye because it's out of the kindness of Rief's heart).
