“What are you doing here?” Robby asks. Dana immediately steps in to give him a hug.
“Happy birthday, sweetheart,” she whispers, kissing his cheek. Robby looks at her, then back at Jack.
“Thank you, but it’s not till tomorrow. What’s going on here?”
Jack and Dana grin at each other. Jack says, “She’s here for the weekend, babe. She got the same time off that we do.”
Robby’s mouth opens.
