Joels come to terms with the fact that Bdubs doesn't like him. Hes accepted that Bdubs will never like him. So he kidnapped him.

He wasnt sure why he ever thought he could like Bdubs. Bdubs was a horse hybrid, for goodness sake. Bdubs was a horse hybrid, tied up in his basement. He smiled at that thought.

Joel noticed Bdubs' ear twitch, as his head slightly raised to support itself. It took the stupid, slow horse long enough. He had been standing here for hours waiting for Bdubs to finally wake up. Bdubs opened his eyes, blinking as reality sunk in, "Where am I?" He questioned, his eyes meeting Joel. His expression sharpened, "Joel.." He spat, scowling.

Joel smiled, "Bdubs!" He placed a hand on Bdubs' head and stared at his ears, which were pointed down. Joels seen enough horses to realize how this was a sign of discomfort. Why would Bdubs be uncomfortable around him? He knows everything is fine here! Well, everything but Bdubs.. "Im glad youve woken up, you sleepyhead!" He tightened his grip, holding onto Bdubs' hair. Bdubs' eyes narrowed for a split second, but they returned to their normal wide state quickly.

"Did you kidnap me?!" Bdubs' huffed, slightly leaning closer in the chair that he was bound to. Joel tilted his head and realized the horses hair, bringing his finger down to wiggle in front of Bdubs' face.

"Kidnapping is such a strong word!" Joel shook his head, placing his hand on Bdubs shoulder, "I like to call this borrowing to the fullest!" He shot Bdubs a cheeky smile. Bdubs grimaced at the touch and grin.

"Let me go!" Bdubs shouted, as loud as usual. Joel rolled his eyes and kept his smile, shaking his head again.

"Youre so annoying, even while being held captive! I for sure thought you would be more quiet.. Anywho! Im sick and tired of you. Youre always shouting at me and giving me nasty looks—for what? What did I do to you? Hm?" Joel waited, but not giving Bdubs enough time to respond, "Exactly. Nothing! Ive done nothing to you."

"At least give me a chance to speak, asshole! You know what shit youve done! Youve been killing horses since you were born! You know how much I hate it!" Bdubs huffed.

Joel giggled, "Silly horse!" He ruffled Bdubs' hair, "But thats not harming you, is it? No, I didnt think so." Joel placed his hands behind his back, "Ill cut to the chase!" Joel turned around, facing the large cauldron in front of Bdubs, "This here," He gestured to the cauldron, as if Bdubs wasnt forced to see it, "Is the source of my rainbows!" He turned to Bdubs again, "But as you can see.. my rainbows are getting weak! They aren't flowing like they should!"

Bdubs scowled again, and realized the decapitated horse heads around him. There were horse heads in colour coded tubes, and some were laying on the ground. Bdubs gagged at the sight and forced himself to shut his eyes, looking down. Nausea filled his stomach and he felt something creep up his throat. He kept his head pointed to the floor.

Joel smiled softly and placed his hand under Bdubs chin, lifting his head back up to face the murderer, "Havent you been told its rude not to look at someone when they spoke to you?" Joel tilted his head to the side, "I didnt think so."

"What do you want from me, Joel?.."

"Oh, Im so glad you asked!" Joel cackled and pushed the chair forward ever so slightly, "Like I said! My rainbows are getting weak! Do you wannt guess how my rainbows are powered, BdoubleO?"

"Joel, please. Just let me go.." Bdubs begged silently.

"I've wondered, what difference would a horse hybrid make? I mean, youve got the diet, the ears, the tail, and even the hooves! Not to mention your strength and speed!" His hand, still pressed against Bdubs' cheek, squeezed slightly. "My rainbows are powered by horse blood. Do you have horse blood, Bdubs?" He smiled, his eyes showing a glint of mania.

"..No. I.. I dont."

"Do you think its fun to lie?" Joel released Bdubs' chin and pulled out an iron knife. The blade was stained with dry blood. Joel hovered the knife over Bdubs' neck, "Would you like to know my favourite way of killing horses?"

"Joel—"

"Ill give you two guesses!"

Bdubs sobbed, trying to lean as far back in his chair as he could, "I.. Joel, I dont know.. This is insane.. Let me-"

"Thats not a guess, silly!" Joel pressed the cold, blade to Bdubs' neck. Bdubs swallowed nervously and took a deep breath. If he guesses right, maybe Joel will let him go.

"You.. Stab- their hearts?.." Bdubs shut his eyes.

"Nope! One more guess!" Joel pressed harder, drawing blood. Blood poured down Bdubs neck in small beads, but it mostly caught onto the sword. Joel had noticed tears flowing through Bdubs' eyes as well. He smiled.

"Please-" The knife was pressed again, "Joel—okay, okay.." He sobbed, sniffling. His ears were flat against his head, "You strangle them?.."

"Wrong again!" Joel laughed and put the knife away, wiping the blood from Bdubs neck. Bdubs winced in pain and let out a choked sobbed. Joel smiled, "I rip their heads off!" He grabbed Bdubs' chin with both hands and tore his head straight off of his body. Bdubs didnt get a chance to scream.

The body slumped in the chair. If it werent for the bindings, the body would fall right out of the wooden chair. Joel held Bdubs' head up and smiled, "You have such a punchable face, Bdubs!" He chuckled and placed the head down. He untied the body and threw it into the cauldron. In a matter of seconds, the cauldron bubbles with colour and a rainbow emitted from it. Joel sat down in the chair that was covered in his peers blood and reached down to grab the head. He placed the head on his lap and watched the rainbow.

"Isnt this nice?"
