“Deku, do you miss having a quirk?”
“Deku, does it make you sad that you can’t ever be a hero?”
These questions used to make him angry. How did people expect him to respond to that? It was his dream to become a hero, and it had been ripped out of his hands just as he had finally grasped it. Of course it hurt. However, as the years passed, he eventually grew numb to the question. There was no point in getting upset. Everyone meant well—they just didn’t know what it was like to be quirkless, and they never would.

A now quirkless Izuku Midoriya, is in his third year of teaching at U.A. and he's never been happier. At least that's what he tells everyone.
