Work Text:
The Ashen Demon looked perfect and beautiful. Her mastery and control over her movements made her a fearsome competitor. But for some time now, she had stopped impressing the judges, always appearing with that blank, doll-like face.
The lack of artistic interpretation in her expressions had led some judges to predict she was soon to be "the Fell Star".Dimitri couldn't stop watching her. He didn't know if he felt unnerved or captivated. She seemed unaffected by the criticism or the scores. Honestly, being entered into the pair's competitions seemed like a bad idea. He had always competed alone, and his potential partner...
who knew if that would work?

Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd. He looked like a prince, always immaculate and meticulous in his technique. Except for his presentation. He didn't seem to like excessive details in his garments.
He also seemed distant and self-absorbed, as if he had built a wall around himself. Although he certainly had his charm. I could probably compare it to the charm of Alois's sandwiches. They're delicious!

Dancing on ice, their speed and strength seemed to mesh perfectly. He tossed her around like a rag doll but placed her down like a glass vase. Although Dimitri had never been one for delicate movements, the way he held his partner, while firm, treated her like a good gardener treats his flowers. Their gazes were always fixed on each other. It didn't seem like they were competing, just a dance between two lovers lost in each other. Their world was theirs alone. And that charm seemed so captivating to both the audience and the judges.
No one could say for sure if this newfound charm came from hours of training together as part of the performance, or if it was something real.
But it suited them both. She was much more expressive, and he... well, it seemed he had found what he was missing.
