Summary
Getting snowed into a city they weren’t supposed to be staying in is not ideal. Even more not ideal is every hotel in the area being booked. And Ilya can’t get Shane on the phone to let him know.

My boyfriend is gay and a hockey player. He has recently told his team and they are assholes. If I hear anything about him I will kick your ass and leave you to rot out in the snow.”

Or, Ilya’s game is canceled and they have nowhere to stay. But they are in Ottawa, where his team knows he lives. So he’s roped into spending the snow break with his team that he’s not out to, in his home he shares with his boyfriend, a boyfriend that they don’t know about. -
