Akimune looked at him for a second, then shook his head as his face scrunched up with a laugh. “No, this is exactly why I wanted to speak with you again, just the two of us. I thought you were going to run me through when I snuck up behind you earlier today. You look like you might do it even now for wasting your time. And plenty of men would love to see me dead, but it’s been years since any of them last dared to look at me with such obvious intent.”
