Dan had gone to church nearly every Sunday for so many of his formative years, and yet what he’s experienced in this room thus far has been the most religious experience of his life.
Right now, as he sits on Phil’s bed, this is the closest he’s ever come to God. Closer than anyone has, probably, as Phil closes the distance between the two. His hand is on Dan’s thigh, mouths now pressed together in a lazy, messy, kiss.
Surely nobody else has been touched by God in this way, right?
Biblically, this would make Dan the Virgin Mary. Which he’s been unsuccessfully trying to change for the last two months.OR
Dan is an 18-year-old virgin, horny out of his mind, and he wants nothing more than for Phil to hold him down and rail him until he blacks out. Phil is too sweet and in love and wants Dan's first time to be perfect. Dan's idea of a perfect first time involves showing Phil how good of a devotee he can be and proving to him that he's best on his knees.
