Kuroo's scenario
Kuroo and Kenma are hanging out in Kuroo's room. Kenma is very focused on his game while Kuroo is on his phone.
“Oh, Kenma, by the way, I have a girlfriend now”, Kuroo says, eyes still glued to his phone.
“What?”, Kenma freezes, a game over screen showing up in front of his eyes, mocking him.
“Yeah, she confessed to me yesterday and I said why not, right? Anyways, she wants to come tomorrow to watch a movie or something”, a smug smirk plastered all over Kuroo's face.
“...Can I come over too?”, Kenma asks, a blank expression reflected on the black screen of his gaming console. He isn't making eye contact with Kuroo.
“Oh? You wanna meet her? That's surprising. Yeah, sure, sounds like fun”, Kuroo seems excited.
Kenma just hums in response and restarts the level he failed. This time he will beat the boss for sure.
…
Tomorrow comes, all three of them are in Kuroo's room watching a movie.
“Kuroo-san…”, the girl says, quietly.
“What's up?”, Kuroo asks.
“Why…?”, she gestures towards Kenma who is sitting in between Kuroo's legs, back pressed to Kuroo's chest, he looks quite comfortable there and too into his game to pay her any mind.
“Oh, this? We always do this, don't worry about it”, Kuroo smiles.
“O…kay…”, is all the girl mutters back
After the movie is done, Kuroo brings some food to share with everyone. The girl grabs something with her chopsticks to feed it to Kuroo. Feeding your boyfriend, that would be so cute, right?
“Kur-”, she stops, her chopsticks still in midair.
“Good grief, one would think you could feed yourself at this point, Kenma~ Say ahh~”, Kuroo says playfully while feeding Kenma with his chopsticks, food placed right in his mouth.
Kenma happily accepts it.
“It's tastier like this”, he throws a quick, almost imperceptible glance at the girl.
She just looks away and continues eating her food in silence.
Later, at the door, they're all saying their goodbyes. Well, the girl is, because Kenma will be staying the night over at Kuroo's place.
“I...had a good time, Kuroo-san…”, she tries to close the distance between her and Kuroo to give him a kiss on the cheek, but right at that moment, Kuroo turns around to look back and inadvertently ignores her.
Kenma had pulled at the sleeve of his hoodie to grab his attention.
“Kuro…it's cold”, he looks at Kuroo with big doe eyes.
“I told you to put on something thicker. Come on, let's go in so I can give you one of my hoodies”, Kuroo ushers Kenma into the house.
Before entering, he remembers the girl is still standing there, he looks back, “Ah! Thanks for coming, get home safe, bye!”, he smiles and shuts the door.
“...”, the girl is completely speechless.
…
The very next day, Kuroo is rolling around Kenma's bed, feeling deflated. His now ex-girlfriend broke up with him a little earlier.
“What the hell, only one day! I can't believe it, am I really such a bad lover?!”, Kuroo complains for the fifth time.
Kenma sighs and scoots over to Kuroo.
“Maybe she was the bad one”, Kenma caresses Kuroo's hair.
Kuroo looks at Kenma and moves in to hug him, pressing his face against Kenma's chest.
“Kyanmaaa!”, he cries and nuzzles his chest.
Kenma sighs again but this time a soft smile adorns his lips while his fingers comb slowly through Kuroo's hair.
“There, there. She's missing out”, Kenma tries to comfort Kuroo and it works. He's less upset now, but still holding onto Kenma.
Being pampered by Kenma like this is extremely rare so Kuroo decides to indulge in it for a bit longer.
Kenma continues ruffling Kuroo's hair. It's not his time yet, but in the meantime no one can get close to Kuroo, he'll make sure of it.

Kenma's scenario
“Kuro”, Kenma keeps on mashing buttons on his console.
“Mm?”, Kuroo is laying next to him on Kenma's bed, reading a manga.
“I have a boyfriend”, Kenma says, matter of fact.
“Oh, okay”, Kuroo replies, calm, until it hits him.
“WHAT?! B-BOYFRIEND!?”, he jumps up, throwing the manga on the floor, shocked.
“Don't yell, so noisy…yeah, this guy asked me out yesterday and I said yes”, Kenma continues playing as if it's no big deal.
Kuroos' world is spinning, a million questions circling around his head but one above all, so Kenma likes boys?
“Who is it? I need to meet him. What if he's no good? Kenma, why didn't y-”, Kuroo wants to keep going and ask for every detail possible but Kenma's scrunched up, displeased face deters him.
“Annoying, stop. Why do you need to meet him? That's too troublesome”, Kenma pauses his game for a bit to look at Kuroo.
“Because I'm your best friend! I need to check if he's good enough for you”, Kuroo crosses his arms, he's getting a little angry now.
“What if he isn't?”, Kenma asks.
“Then you dump him! He doesn't deserve you”, Kuroo's getting more annoyed by the second.
“But I'll be all alone then…what if no one else likes me?”, Kenma averts his gaze.
“What? You're joking, you're a catch, Kenma!”, Kuroo huffs.
“That's too general, you can say the same about a million people”, Kenma insists.
Kuroo has had enough, he grabs Kenma by the arms, startling him, and looks straight into his eyes.
“WHAT?! No way! You're so smart, always coming up with great strategies for the team. You're so passionate about the things you love and care for your friends so much. And the way you look…the way your hair frames your face, you…you look so…pretty…”, in contrast with how loud Kuroo started, the last part is almost a murmur.
Kenma is wide eyed, a slight blush dusting his cheeks.
Kuroo hugs Kenma. His brain finally catching up to his feelings. Why didn't he realize it before? Now it's too late…
“Kuro?”, Kenma can feel Kuroo's heart thumping.
“You're amazing, Kenma…just one time, I just want to see for myself that he's right for you”, Kuroo tightens his embrace.
“Oh…that was a lie”, Kenma says.
“…”
“WHAT?!?!”, Kuroo pushes Kenma away while yelling at the top of his lungs. He stares at Kenma, dumbfounded.
“Ow, my ears…sorry, it was a prank”, Kenma chuckles a little bit, amused by his own doing.
“You…!”, Kuroo stops, a thought popping in his head. This means Kenma is still single and he may have a chance! Woohoo!
Kuroo holds Kenma's face in between his hands, pressing his cheeks together.
“Oww, oww, stop, stop”, Kenma pleads but Kuroo just continues. A little payback for putting him through this whole ordeal.
Kuroo leans forward, a breath away from Kenma, “Next time, I won't be so gentle, don't tease me like that again, kitten”.
He's smirking but it's a little different than usual. At least it feels like that for Kenma, his heart starting to beat fast.
“Dinner is ready!”, the voice of Kenma's mom interrupts them.
Kuroo takes his hands off of Kenma and gets up, “Let's go”, he seems pleased with himself.
“Uh, I- I'll save my game, you go first”, Kenma stumbles a little over his words, he's still a little shaken up.
“Okay~ but if you take too long, I'll come back to drag you downstairs”, Kuroo jokes before exiting the room.
Kenma plops on his bed and covers his face with his arm. He feels so embarrassed, but he isn't sure why.
“What…was that?”, he whispers to himself, his heart has calmed down but when he remembers the way Kuroo looked at him while squeezing his cheeks, it starts to beat fast again.
He can't think about this right now, no way, so he just pushes it to the back of his mind and goes downstairs before Kuroo decides to come back for him.
Not to worry, Kenma won't even have time to dwell on the matter because Kuroo is set on taking his chance with him. Just you wait Kenma, Kuroo will swoon you over!
