The Puppeteer (Y/n x Chuuya)

Summary:

This is a fem y/n au where she ends up in the Port Mafia, working alongside Dazai. She met Mori at thirteen after accidentally killing her own family and wandering the streets, and officially joined the mafia at fifteen - long before she ever knew Chuuya existed.

Dazai's first mission was a solo assignment, where he crossed paths with the violent and powerful Chuuya. Meanwhile, Y/N was sent on separate missions, slowly earning her place within the mafia. At first, she and Dazai despised each other, but time forced a quiet understanding between them - a trust born from growing up in the same ruthless world.

y/n's first encounter with Chuuya comes when the Port Mafia kidnaps and restrains him, bringing him before Mori. It's under those circumstances - tension thick, power on display - that their paths finally collide, setting the stage for a partnership forged in force, suspicion, and inevitability.

Y/N's ability lets her form a link through someone's blood, but she must taste it to establish it. Once linked, she can control their body, force precise movements, and inflict endless pain—but she cannot kill them.

She can maintain links with up to five people at once, controlling only one at a time. While she manipulates one, the others can move freely, but the link still binds them, lingering in their veins. Distance means nothing; a target could travel anywhere, and the link would remain unless she forgets their face.

Maintaining too many links strains her body, causing nosebleeds, dizziness, and creeping unconsciousness. She can sever a link at will, but while it exists, she becomes a shadow in their veins, a presence of suffering that cannot be escaped.
