Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

-Alexander-

Alex for once was (read: forcefully made to) taking a break, even though Washington threatened to demote him, then fire him if he didn't take an adequate break. Heck even Lafayette joined in, Lafayette wanted Him to get food, take a nap or something else besides work, before he drags himself into the ground.

He knew he couldn't get back in the building, And the front entrance was the only way he could get in from safely without being suspicious. He needed his job, so he just decided to take like a fifteen-minute break. That'll do right? Eat, drink, use the necessities and whatever normal people do when on their break.

First was food and drink; He got himself oatmeal and water. Easy enough right? Most people were suppressed to see him out instead of in the general's tent. He replied with 'needed a break.' But most people just rolled their eyes in response. He gladly snarfed that down there, but he rushed himself as he wanted to get back to work. Darn did food ever taste so good.

He realized he had a headache as he was putting away his dishes. And a pretty bad one at that. He couldn't think straight, and the world was starting to get dizzy.

Maybe he could be out longer, He couldn't work like this. And Washington would send him on another break if he tried to work like this. So, there's no use trying, but he just wanted to sleep, and his head hurt right now.

So, he did the best thing he could think of. No, not go tell Washington that he was sick. Just go to his tent and sleep.

He walked as fast as he could over to his tent. Ignoring anyone who tried to talk to him. He also realized his vision was becoming blurred. Great. But Hamilton somehow made it to his tent without collapsing.

Once inside the tent, dizziness started to come over him more than it already had. He felt the tent spinning faster and faster even if he had his eyes had forcefully closed.

Why had this happened to him?

And why today of all days?

He opened his eyes to get himself somewhere safe, but the black spots appeared and were growing. The floor was rushing up to greet him, He felt himself hit the floor but didn't feel like caring. He felt the back of his head hurting; His eyes began to droop and succumbed to the sweet darkness of sleep.

Oh boy, when he was found, he was definitely getting killed.
