Before Will could give Mike an explanation, the stranger stood again, putting a hand on Mike’s shoulder. The music dipped at the end of the song and Mike understood him perfectly. He wished he didn’t. “Hey, man, there’s plenty of guys in here, there’s no need for rivalry.” He gave Mike’s shoulder a firm squeeze before adding, “I’d really appreciate it if you wouldn’t hit on my booty.”
A sound escaped Mike’s throat, something from deep within his chest, a laugh that turned into an offended gasp. “Your booty?”
