The Lappy 486 turns on, humming with noise, as Strong Bad enters the room. He sits at his stool, typing in the command to “run strongbad_email.exe” on the Lappy with his big red boxing gloves, which are looking particularly aerodynamic today.
“Mah emails got that somethin… know what I mean?”
Strong Bad gets an email from someone named Trevana. He reads it off the screen:
“Dear Strong Bad, have you ever thought about doing noise music? I think you would be so good at it because your very awesome and cool. Crapfully, Trevana”
Strong Bad impetuously replies to the email, speaking out loud.
“First of all, a name like Trevana gives me some sort of hemorrhage, or maybe… a project from some super secret government base, where gigantic reptiles are being created! Anyways, I never heard about what doing noise music actually is, but I guess I can give it a try. I got some gear to create my exquisite frequencies.”
He pauses.
“Although, The Cheat has some gear too, he’s got that Murpsbox thing that can take any instrumental input. I think I’m gonna go check it out now!”
Strong Bad calls out in a singsong tone of voice, turning his head.
“Oh, the CHEEEEAT!”
The Cheat immediately comes over in a flash. He stops to await what Strong Bad has to ask.
“You still got that Murpsbox?” Strong Bad asks.
“Meh-meh!” The Cheat squeaks, nodding his head.
“Oh! Maybe I could use it for some, uhh… only the finest experimentation! For musical purposes, of course…” Strong Bad affirms excitedly. “And you got some of those fancy thinga-ma-things.”
Strong Bad starts to collect all the instruments he needs for his noise song creation, and sets them all up in his basement.
“Alright, looks like I got The Cheat’s Murpsbox, and uh… my precious Curpy. The Cheat’s Pepedal, for that… PHASING effect. Also his Casiotones CT-X3000, which I’m gonna input into my very own BOSS METAL ZONE PEDAL! which is gonna make the keyboard sound like a MIDI Electronic guitar! And I’ll glitch the crap out of it to make it sound like a crapocalypse!”
Strong Bad begins plugging in cords and wires into their correct orders.
“Alright, then. We’re gonna start off with some awesome and cool tunes.”
Strong Bad starts messing with the Murpsbox and makes some harsh noises. He twists and turns some knobs, making distorted noise with occasional granulated synthesizers and feedback loops.
“Dang, that was pretty good!” Strong Bad says happily.
The Cheat responds with a happy sound as well. Little did they know, the whole house now has broken glass shards everywhere, and they’re unaware of this because they’re making the music in the basement.
[Cut to Strong Sad’s Room]
Strong Sad is in his bedroom, jamming to some Hanatarash, as his bedroom window shatters, some shards thrusting onto him in pain.
“Ow! Now I don’t like windows anymore,” Strong Sad says sadly.
[Cut back to Strong Bad]
“So there you have it, my very own beauty of a noise song. I hope you and your little Oregon buddies are happy! Aaaaaand… goodbye! I’m awesome!”
The Paper comes down.
