Summary
The story begins when Mingi and Yeosang step on the bus station, far from home and everything else they knew, with only a few measly belongings and a hope for a home.
Kang Yeosang's existence seems to bring misery to all those around him. From his family pack, to Mingi, the Song pack and so on. As a result, he'd rather used to being downtrodden, has found a comfort in the misery even. But Mingi refuses to be company and instead, whisks him away to join the pack of Kim Hongjoong, who has the kindest eyes and the scariest promises of safety and love.

This is the first year of Yeosangs in the Kim pack, a prequel to Distant desires. It follows Yeosang, Hongjoong, Yunho and Mingi figuring out this whole pack business together. Would recommend you to read Distant desires before this one.
