Tulip got out of her parents' car. She was dressed in her favorite green shirt and an orange skirt; her skin was olive brown, and her hair was curly, and she loved that. She put on her headphones and played some music, then her mother stopped her what is it mama tulip said look replied tulips mom i know moving to a new town before high school seems bad but you will make new friends now whos my little tadpole tulip smilled, me? she said then tulips mom let her go she entered through those double doors and headed to the principals office it had a plesent look then she saw the principal she looked kind tulip looked at the name plate her name was principel jane yamada ahh you must be tulip come sit down she said
Tulip sat down, and Ms. Yamada handed her a piece of paper. It was the location of her locker. She took it and headed to her locker, which was locker 2853. She entered her combination and saw that her locker was empty, but she could decorate it. She put in her books, and she headed to class, but stopped on the way when she saw a poster for something.

Tulip's eyes lit up. She loved drama, especially theatre. She immediately wrote her name on the sign-up sheet and headed to class. She waited for school to end so she could go to the meeting. The bell rang, it was break time, she headed to the courtyard, she checked her phone, and she got a text from her girlfriend.

tulip smilled, and she looked up her local theatre's website to see which shows there were lots of tours of plays and musicals. She would ask her parents to buy the tickets. She did a happy dance and bumped into a girl with blonde hair and olive skin. The girl's stuff dropped on the floor IM SORRY tulip said, picking up the girl's stuff, and she handed the girl her phone no im sorry i wasnt looking im sophia sophia ramirez she said. Tulip reached out her hand and shook Sophia's hand. im tulip she replied. She saw the comedy and tragedy masks on a pin on Sophia's jacket. Do you like theatre? Sophia gasped i LOVE THEATRE she replied, and then she pulled out a CD player and a CD. She put it in, and out came Waving Through a window from Dear Evan Hansen. This is a CD I made with my favorite musical tracks from classic to modern, mainly Dear Evan Hansen. Sophia replied, Tulip's eyes lit up. I LOVE DEAR EVAN HANSEN, also, I saw your name on the sign-up sheet for the drama club, she said. yes i hope I get the lead role for this year's musical sophia said. Then the bell rang, they headed to class, and then they waited for school to end. They waited and waited and waited, then the bell rang, and they headed to the music classroom. There was the drama club, just some people their age and their music teacher, Ms. Lee

It was just Little Shop and The Lightning Thief, it felt like an eternity waiting, and then Ms. lee erassed
Little Shop of horrors tulip shouted YES WERE DOING THE LIGHTNING THIEF ms lee laughed yes tulip we are doing it. We will be hosting auditions on Friday, and the cast list will be released a week after auditions. The class then discussed which songs they would be singing for the audition. I will be singing candy store one kid said im going to sing pulled another one said Then Tulip whispered to sophia im going to sing D.O.A im trying for charon sophia whispered to tulip saying shes trying for annabeth and then Ms. Lee dismissed them, and they headed home. Sophia turned to tulip hey you were pretty cool wanna be friends? Tulip smiled and immediately agreed and gave Sophia her phone number, and then Tulip headed to her parents' car while Sophia entered a limo.
Tulip entered her bedroom and relaxed on her bed she put on her headphones and listened to D.O.A to prepare for the audition. Then her father came in. It was my little girl's first day at school, he said. The tulip hugged him. MY SCHOOL IS DOING THE LIGHTNING THIEF, AND AUDITIONS WILL BE THIS FRIDAY i cant breath, she said tulips dad laughed bet your excited, he said. Come on, dinner's ready tulip heads to the kitchen her mom was sitting at the head of the table. There's my little tadpole, she said, heard there's gonna be a musical at your new school your gonna try out? Tulip smiled and told her mom the plans she's gonna practice every day after school until the auditions, then she might get the part. Then Tulip ran to her room with her food to practice
Tulip began singing it was great, but not perfect. Tulip practiced for hours, but got tired and began to sleep
sophia entered her mansion she saw a note from her parents ''will be out of town for the week, take care'' sophia walked to her room and lay down on her bed. She texted tulip she was offline. Sophia looked at a picture i middle school during her production of Sussical Jr she was the sour kangaroo. She smiled and hugged it before going to bed

Audition day
Everyone in the theatre was singing and practicing. They were called up one by one. First, there was sue she sang freeze your brain second there was keith he sang guns and ships after a long time, it was Sophia's turn. Sophia sang her heart out. Sophia was happy and skipped away. Tulip was ready. She took deep breaths and sang, and they all clapped. They said she's perfect for the role

The fifth of September
Tulip stood near the gates of the Rameriz's mansion with a little box wrapped. She entered and knocked on the door. A young woman stood there oh you must be for master Sophia's birthday, let me guide you to master Sophia's room said the maid Tulip followed her, and she saw portraits of Sophia's family. Tulip noticed that Sophia looked super sad, then she saw a door master your friend is here she said. Sophia opened the door, and her face lit up. TULIP thanks Gertrude. Sophia said Gertrude bowed anytime master, she said, and she walked away. Tulip entered Sophia's room. She gave her the present she picked up a binder on sophias shelf. She opened it and saw lots of playbills and show programmes in alphabetical order. Wow, Sophia, you really are a fan tulip said. Sophia shrugged. My parents give me lots of money every week, she said. Tulip took a look at Sophia's huge bed tulip lyed down, and it felt soft dont sleep, please, Sophia said.
