Summary
“You’re just their lackey,” were the words that had echoed in Beom-seok’s head for days. Even when that gangster Gil-su was long gone and arrested, his last final words before he had left that interrogation room with anger boiling in his chest. The strong urge to just punch him in the face until he bled had torn at him, so strongly he almost gave in. But he didn’t.
Beom-seok hadn’t told the other two what he’d said. Because at least from what he knew, it was true to him. Su-ho didn’t see him as a friend. Just a minion to be ordered around. Si-eun did care enough to ask if he was okay two times—but how could he admit to what he had been thinking? How could he say the very words to Si-eun’s face? How would he react? Would he ridicule him?
In his mind, he thought, Beom-seok ruined everything. Whether it be his stepfather’s approval to public image, to his own very friendships because of his emotions.
Because of him. Everything was his fault. Oh Beom-seok always ruined everything.
OR
S1 EP5 (or 6?) ends differently. Si-eun calls Beom-seok and the two agree to meet with Su-ho to reconnect.
