‘Today we’re going to make Blueberry Muffins. My mother visited me last weekend and brought me some blueberries. It is not a hard recipe and as usual the recipe is in the description. Just remember to preheat your oven to 200 degrees– in celcius! first.'
It has never occurred to Nanami that he really owns a youtube channel at 33 years old.
It was never serious to begin with. For a start, Nanami likes baking– no, he loves it. He likes the smell of freshly baked bread, the hint of cinnamon, and also he can measure the sugar himself when he wants something sweet in his pastries. Baking is also his stress release after working non-stop in the corporate on the weekdays. He hates being a corporate slave, but his paycheck can get him a nice oven and other baking necessities in high quality, so Nanami will endure it for the next years to come.
Nanami didn’t plan to create his own youtube channel. Hell, he is awkward when it comes to the camera. But then, one day, he posted his freshly baked blueberry muffins on his social media– looking so fluffy and tasty at the same time– that got his friends attention and asked him to share his recipe. Nanami then recorded himself– without showing his face– baking the same recipe and the responses were great.

Ever since the first video, Nanami starts to upload his baking video with a fixed routine– one video in two weeks. Not because Nanami is too lazy to upload something, but he thinks the channel isn’t his priority right now– he only makes videos just to release his stress without giving much thought into it. His work is already consuming him and on the weekend aside from baking, Nanami is just usually laying on his bed or reading his unfinished books, or doing chores in the morning then laying on the bed afterwards. Nanami doesn’t need more stress if he wants to create a video to be more aesthetic.
The comments on his first video reassures him. They said that Nanami’s recipe is easy to follow, the lighting is proper even if it’s just his kitchen's natural lighting setting, and there is no unnecessary background noise that makes his viewers happy watching his videos.
In the next six months, his name is included on the list of the rising-star baking-content creator.
Nanami knows there will be an after effect if his name becomes more well-known to the public. His life will be exposed even if he doesn’t want to– kudos to the ‘fans’ that like to dig information about him on the internet (Nanami is sure there isn’t any though. He doesn’t know why or where those people got his private information). His followers on his social media is sky-rocketing and now he often gets weird messages that don’t talk about baking at all.
In all honesty, Nanami doesn’t really care if his viewers got his information– whether it’s his emo-haired era during high school or his awkward, smiling face whenever someone tries to take a photo with him. He doesn’t care if it’s just about him. What he doesn’t want people to do is, they try to dig deeper about his closest relation– his family and friends. Nanami loves his closest people and he doesn’t want any information about them leaks onto the internet.
That includes his marital status– until now Nanami still hides them and lets the viewers wonder what the real status of this blonde, tall, and hazel eyes is (his viewers said it themselves, not him!).

Nanami has uploaded one video in the kitchen with a different setting from the latest video. He challenges himself to make a cake– homemade chocolate cake.
The comments are interesting.

The next week, when Nanami gets to go home earlier than usual– his boss is out of town and his work is done already– he decides to cook his dinner while doing live on his instagram. As usual, he doesn’t show his face and only shows half of his body. Nanami doesn’t hide his face from the public– well, his videos are, but in his social media, there are plenty of photos of him with the scenery of various places. So people already know how Nanami looks behind the camera. But, for this streaming ‘debut’, Nanami only records his cooking and his dish later.
Nanami laughs softly when he reads the comments.
‘Nanami-san, your voice is so attractive!!’
‘HOLY i KNOW Nanami-san is buff but I don’t know he is THIS buff! ykwim??’
‘Please tell us your work out routine, Nanami-san!!’
‘Nanami Kento-san, please be my wife…..’
“Thank you, but please just focus on the dish I want to cook. Do you guys have dinner already? What did you eat?”
Wearing the blue dress shirt, Nanami lets the top of his button undone and rolls the sleeve up to his elbow. Nanami talks about how his day has been, asking the viewers what they want Nanami to bake, and answering questions the viewers asked him that relates to baking. He avoids the question like are you single or please tell us about your lovelife! because, well, it is his privacy and Nanami doesn’t need to tell the public about his private life. He wants the channel to be focused on how Nanami shares his baking tips and the result of his recipe.
When he’s done with cooking, Nanami shows his dish to the camera. Two grilled mackerels and miso soup.
‘I eat two mackerels too in one sitting! One is just not enough, right, Nanami-san??’
Nanami puts aside one mackerel and grabs his bowl of rice. “Itadakimasu.”
After swallowing, Nanami answers the question. “Well. Grilled mackerel is good for your health.” He smiles after. Nanami sips the soup and nods in satisfaction when the taste is to his liking. “I bet everyone is capable of cooking miso soup, but if anyone wants to know how I make it, I will write the recipe later.”
Not long after, there is a door opening and closing soon after, followed by a loud voice. “Kento, I’m home!”
“Welcome home.” Nanami moves the camera angle hurriedly when someone is talking to him behind the camera.
“Oh? Are you doing live right now?”
“Yes. I can turn it off if you’re not comfortable.” Nanami says, putting the chopsticks away and ready to click the end stream button.
“Oh, Kento.” The man says mischievously and bends down– of course with Nanami covering half of the camera and the viewers only get to see the glimpse of the white hair. “I can’t wait to steal your viewers after this.”
Smooch.
It is clear as day. The sound of the man kissing Kento– or the other way back, the viewers don’t know the details– but it is clear that the guys kiss.
Nanami sighs fondly, followed by the cheerful laugh that echoes behind the camera.
The comments are wild.

blueyellow : who’s that guy….? why is he calling Nanami-san with his first name….?

NanamiNews : so…the rumour is true then?

Sorry to break it to you, but Chef Yuji already has a partner and that isn’t Nanami-san. They went to the same high school though. I think that’s why Chef Yuji is close to Nanami-san.

- Nanami schoolmate : Hi! I went to the same school as Nanami! He was a kind guy– even with his stern-expressed face and the seniors loved to annoy him the most because they liked to see his annoyed face (no! I’m not kidding!). He was loved by his juniors and seniors, men and women. He was never absent going into our reunion. A little info. HYu, Chef Yuji, and Singer Geto and Nanami went to the same high school. Even though they weren’t in one class together (aside from HYu, he was his classmate!). Singer Geto was his upperclassman and Chef Yuji was his junior– 8 years gap. I think there were more people but I didn’t know the details more and I don’t want to make a baseless rumour.
- Nanaminews : Oh! That’s right! I heard it somewhere that they went to the same school. Nanami, HYu, Singer Geto, and the famous lawyer, Higuruma-san. There were two women but I will not mention them because the probability is zero– because we saw it was a guy in his live. Oh! I forgot to mention there was also a teacher though! Nanami-san’s friends are surely top-notch.
- Nanami is Husband material : Guys. Guys. Listen. Have you ever wondered who the hell was taking his pictures on instagram? Well, he didn’t post it on his feeds but if you follow him, he uploads his pictures once in a while and the poses are like this. (1) His hands were being held by someone behind the camera. (2) The dinner dish that usually was eaten for two people. (3) The kitchen setting that was once different (I heard his partner is super rich). (4) And to surprise us more.. Someone captured the glimpse of Nanami’s necklace during the live and guess what? The pendant is a ring. A wedding gold ring from a France-based jewelry brand. Congratulations!! Our charming baker is MARRIED, guys. (But let me cry in the corner though… 😭😭😭)

I apologize for the lack of content for the past two months. I just got promoted and work is shit, as usual. The only time I have for my closest ones is on the weekend and I want to spend it with them as much as possible. I’m still adapting to the new routine and hopefully I can come back to do some baking-videos to share with you guys.

Nanami asks the man who lays his head on his thighs, minding his own business with his phone. Giggling and squealing when he reads the comments of the forum’s discourse. “But, Kento! It’s so fun to read! How can they pair you with Yuji? Oh Lord. Do they even know your real age?!”
Nanami scoffs. “You are still older than me, Satoru.”
“Tch.” Gojo rolls his eyes. “Well, if I’m one of the viewers, I believe our charming baker is also single~ Just look at this body and his face!” Gojo says while putting his phone away and pats Nanami’s jaw.
Nanami closes his book before looking down at Gojo. “Sorry if it’s bothering you. I just don’t want to mix our private life into the content.” Nanami says while brushing his husband’s fluffy white hair.
Gojo takes his other hand and kisses his fingers. “I know and I’m okay with that too. It’s just I found it ridiculous when your viewers pair you with whoever you had interacted with!”
“Yeah, I agree.” Nanami now looks at Gojo. Blue eyes stare at him full of love and want. Nanami leans down and kisses his lips softly. “But, still. You are the winner, Satoru. Always have been.”
Gojo blinks rapidly after hearing those words. “You’re unfair, you know that?” He looks at Nanami and without a warning pulls Nanami’s neck to kiss him more. Their position is a bit hard for Gojo to kiss Nanami properly, but Nanami doesn’t care as long as he can give love as much as his husband gives it to him.
After twenty minutes of smooching around and now Gojo is laying on top of him on their couch, one hand is hugging Gojo’s waist loosely, and another hand is rubbing Gojo’s back softly. “Are you sure you want to show up in front of the camera?”
“Oh, I’m absolutely sure, Kento. It’s you we’re talking about. Are you okay with that?”
“I want to. I want to share with everyone that I’m married to you, Satoru.”
“Lord. Can you please stop attacking me like that? I thought I’m the one who’s super flirty in this relationship?” When Nanami doesn’t answer and only blushes red, Gojo crawls to reach his lips before kissing him again. “You’re adorable when possessiveness strikes you. Why? Afraid someone is gonna steal me once I become known to the public?”
Nanami rolls both of them and now Gojo is below him. Gojo only laughs heartily when Nanami starts smooching his entire face and kissing his lips deeply. Nanami pulls one of his hands– where there’s a ring on Gojo’s ring finger, the same ring that matches with his pendant necklace. Nanami intertwines their hands before kissing the ring with his lips. “Yes. Because I know you’re so damn irresistible, Satoru.” Nanami kisses the corner of his lips, before lowering his head to nose Gojo’s neck. “But that is also a sign that you’re mine and I’m all yours. No need to be jealous over the clear proof.”
Nanami shows no sign of stopping when he’s already giving pecks to Gojo’s waist– which he has no idea of when the shirt has been rolled up. Gojo is just holding his husband close and rubs his pendant lovingly when Nanami looks up again to steal a kiss from him. “Let’s show the world who you really belong to, Kento.” Gojo smiles mischievously before pulling Nanami down and kisses him breathless.
