   Summary

   It is said that in the beginning the first Spirits were born not from trees, rather, they came directly from The Light. But as so many firstborn children often do, they strayed from their parent's guidance and wisdom.

   Long gone are most of these first children, only a few remain, now cast aside by The Light in favor of Spirits born of leaf and tree.

   In another land and in an age of the past long before the Spirt Trees of Nibel or Niwen, a Spirit child is taken in by some of these first children. His adoptive father has many plans and high expectations for him, will he live up to them?
