The Legacy Of Our All Stars

Summary:

Despite Twilight Sparkle’s attempts to use the power of the Elements Of Harmony within her spirit, in a last ditch effort to save themselves, the Legion Of Doom used Grogar’s bell to deflect the power of Twilight’s rainbow beam.

However, instead of it absorbing the magic like the dastardly trio intended, the pressure of the conflicting magic caused an interdimensional rift to break to another world of humans known as Earth, specifically Canada to be exact. Desperate, the Legion Of Doom decided to escape through the portal.

Amidst all of the chaos and confusion, Princess Celestia and Twilight Sparkle managed to explain everything to the humans. This allowed for the authorities, humans and Equestrians alike to be on the lookout for Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy.

However despite all of their efforts, no one seemed to be able to find a trace of the three interdimensional villains. For all everyone in the world was aware, the three of them hid away in isolation to prevent themselves from being caught.

But they would soon find themselves to be proven so very wrong as the three villains decide to hijack Disventure Camp’s All Star season.

Chapter 1: Prologue: The First Elimination

Chapter Text

The Ending Of The End.

That’s what should’ve been the case in the final battle against Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek, and Cozy Glow for all of Equestria.

However, despite Twilight Sparkle’s attempts to use the power of the Elements Of Harmony within her spirit, in a last ditch effort to save themselves, the Legion Of Doom used Grogar’s bell to deflect the power of Twilight’s rainbow beam.

However, instead of it absorbing the magic like the dastardly trio intended, the pressure of the conflicting magic caused an interdimensional rift to break to another world of humans known as Earth, specifically Canada to be exact. Desperate, the Legion Of Doom decided to escape through the portal that was practically gift wrapped for them.

But they would soon find themselves to be proven so very wrong…

It was a tense elimination ceremony for the Magenta Team consisting of Ally, Ashley, Hunter, Fiore, Jake, and James. After Jake and James’ argument, no one could really say who would be eliminated tonight, especially with Fiore being as unpopular as she was.

Currently, there were two votes for Fiore, two votes for James, one vote for Jake. Kristal beamed with sadistic glee as she read the last vote, for it would determine whether Fiore or James were eliminated or that it may even be a three-way tiebreaker between them and Jake. Either way, they were about to find out and the result would be devastating for whoever was eliminated.

Kristal’s eyes shone a little bit at the thought before speaking.

“The first person voted out of Disventure Camp All Stars is… James! That’s three votes, it’s time for you to go.” Kristal announced with a smirk.

“What?!” James asked incredulously as he glared at Jake, “I can’t believe you all sided with that spoiled brat.”

“Seriously, why James? He was actually helpful in challenges.” Hunter complained while Ally turned to James sympathetically.

“I’m sorry to see you leave so soon, James.” Ally said sadly to which James’ eyes softened at her tone.

“From last year’s champion to this year’s first boot. James, it seems your fate has been decided.” Kristal smirked sadistically as a green glint shone through her eyes. This time, everyone noticed and became alarmed.

“Uh… alright.” James replied nervously, “I guess I should take the bus-“

“Oh no. That won’t be necessary.” Kristal stood in front of James as her voice changed to a more sinister sounding tone as she snickered malevolently, “Now, Cozy.”

The team widened their eyes at what Kristal said in shock and horror but before any of them could react, James was struck in the chest with a beam from the night sky which pushed him back a little but he managed to stay standing as a small alicorn filly with a pink coat and blue curls flew towards the terrified group.

“Hehehehehehehe. Golly, I hope that didn’t hurt mister.” Cozy Glow laughed sardonically.

James, despite his growing fear, remained brave as he turned to his team with a smug smirk.

“Don’t worry, that barely even hurt-“ James began bragging before a jolt passed through his body as a gray rocky texture began coursing through his legs, encasing them to which James looked horrified.

“Wh-What the hell?!” James asked, petrified of what was happening to him.

“James!” Ally cried out fearfully while Hunter stood up, most definitely to approach James to help in some way but before he could do anything, he was shot with a laser to the ground in which Ally gasped in terror, tears beginning to form in her eyes as a red muscular centaur jumped into the campfire ceremony to smirk.

“Trust me, you’re better off not getting involved.” Tirek smirked maliciously. Hunter widened his eyes in terror but he didn’t protest as Kristal began laughing maniacally much to the Magenta Team’s increasing horror before they all gasped as Kristal’s body transformed into the body of the former Changeling Queen Chrysalis.

“And so it begins.” Chrysalis spoke ominously.

During this time, James’ body continued getting encased in stone. It was becoming increasingly clear that there was nothing he could do to stop this fate from befalling him.

He looked towards his team, deciding to spend what could very likely be his final moments to gauge their reactions.

By now Hunter had recovered from the blast to properly witness the horror in front of him. He seemed scared but he was clearly trying to keep a brave face for Ally who looked close to bawling her eyes out.

Ashley gave James a remorseful look with tears of her own. He knew she voted for him but he wasn’t mad at her, not in the slightest. She couldn’t possibly know this would happen.

Fiore was shaking in her seat as she was clearly trying her best not to cry. James felt incredibly sympathetic towards the girl. For as horrible as this situation was, the only solace he had was that Fiore was not in his position right now.

At last, he looked to Jake who looked even more remorseful than Ashley and he looked close to crying as well. James knew exactly why that was the case. If it wasn’t for that boy toy’s stupid accusations and his campaign to get him eliminated, James wouldn’t be in this situation right now. By all means, he should despise this man.

But seeing Jake’s expression, he silently sighed to himself as the stone started encasing his neck. He couldn’t blame Jake for this. Like with Ashley, none of them knew this would happen and considering how tonight was going, Fiore or Jake could’ve easily been in his place tonight and that made him feel sick.

“Tell Aiden I love him… and I’m sorry for everything.” James told his team solemnly before the stone magic fully encased his body, leaving him as a rock solid statue with a depressed frown on his face.

“The deed is done.” Chrysalis spoke, clearly satisfied by what she and her allies were able to accomplish.

“JAMES!!!” Ally cried out in despair as she immediately began sobbing. Hunter pulled her into his embrace as the gamer girl wept.

“Y-You monsters! How could you do this to James?!” Ashley spoke furiously as Jake looked at the cowgirl in worry, fearing that she would suffer the exact same fate as James if she triggered the villains in front of them.

“Take it easy cowgirl. James is fine, he’s just been hit with an old stone sleep spell from Equestria. It’s only temporary and once everything is all settled in the finale, he’ll be back to his old self.” Cozy Glow smirked mockingly.

Things began to slightly calm down at Cozy Glow’s remarks with Jake being especially relieved that his impulsive decision did not cause the end of James’ life but he was unsure of what psychological effects being encased in stone would do to him. He gave Ashley a nervous look to which she returned.

Ally’s sobs began to quiet down at the mention of James going back to his normal self once the game ended but she still clung onto Hunter for comfort.

“I believe we’ve neglected to alert the other competitors of this new elimination method. It would not be fair for the Magenta Team to be the only ones to witness their potential fates.” Tirek pointed out with a sinister smirk.

“Quite right. I believe it is time we inform them of this new development.” Chrysalis smirked wickedly before using her magic to levitate a megaphone to her mouth before speaking into it as the loudspeakers went off.

“Contestants of Disventure Camp All Stars, this show is now under new management by Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek, and Cozy Glow! Cyan and Yellow Team report to the elimination ceremony immediately for a very special announcement. Do not even consider running away or we will hunt you down and perhaps even punish your friends from the Magenta Team. Mwahahahahahahahahahaha!” Chrysalis announced sadistically as the Magenta Team looked extremely worried, for themselves and the other teams.

Soon enough, we see that the Yellow Team was reluctantly walking to the elimination ceremony. None of them daring to say a word out of pure fear or in Miriam’s case, concern for Jake.

Of course, someone rudely broke the silence eventually.

“Ugh! Why are we even listening to that wannabe monarch?!” Yul asked furiously, “Why can’t we just leave?!”

“Don’t even THINK about running off! If something happens to Jake because of you, the Legion Of Doom will be the LEAST of your worries!” Miriam narrowed her eyes furiously.

“Yul, we should listen to Miriam. The others could get seriously hurt or worse if we don’t comply with Chrysalis’ orders. Besides, they have the upper hand.” Grett said in concern as Yul growled but didn’t protest after that.

Connor then noticed Riya looking downcast to which he spoke up.

“Riya, are you okay?” Connor asked worriedly to which Riya widened her eyes.

“I’m fine Connor. Just a bit concerned is all…” Riya answered, minimizing her true feelings on the matter but she lacked her usual bite.

Meanwhile, Alec ignored the conversations between his teammates. Only having one concern in mind.

What was even going on…

As for the Cyan Team, they weren’t faring much better. Tom was leading the team to the elimination ceremony, trying his best to keep a brave face on, but it was clear he was just as scared as the rest of them.

“I’m scared bestie…” Gabby whispered fearfully to which Ellie kept a firm arm around Gabby’s shoulder.

“It’ll be okay, Gabs.” Ellie affirmed. She wasn’t actually sure about that, but given the dire situation, she wanted to make sure her girlfriend was calm.

“Oh god oh god oh god, I can’t believe they’re HERE of all places!!!” Aiden began panicking to which Lake was trying her best to calm her best friend down.

“Calm down, Aiden. With their reputations, I’m sure help will be on the way. Until then, we should comply with their orders and see what they have to announce.” Lake reassured him.

“Let’s hope that’s the case. God… I don’t know what I’ll do if Hunter and Ally aren’t okay.” Tess spoke worriedly to which Lake placed a sympathetic hand on Tess’ shoulder.

Tom couldn’t help but worry about themselves and the others as well. He couldn’t believe that the Legion Of Doom was here of all places. He didn’t know what they wanted but right now, he needed to stay brave for himself and his teammates.

Soon enough, both teams had arrived at the elimination ceremony to which they all saw the looks of despair in Magenta Team’s eyes.

“Miriam!” Jake rushed over to hug Miriam to embrace the elderly woman while Tess ran over to Hunter and Ally.

“Hunter! Ally! Are either of you hurt?!” Tess asked in concern.

“Tirek blasted me earlier… but I’m fine.” Hunter smiled nervously as Tess embraced him comfortingly.

“Wh-Where’s James?” Aiden asked worriedly as his eyes searched frantically for his boyfriend but his question elicited maniacal laughter from the Legion Of Doom making Aiden’s fear turn into rage.

“What did you do to him?!” Aiden yelled furiously to which the cast was surprised at Aiden’s boldness and fury.

“Don’t worry about him, he is merely eliminated from the game and the newest victim for our new elimination method.” Tirek smirked.

“New… elimination method…” Lake gulped.

“Why don’t you see for yourselves.” Cozy Glow smirked as she used her horn to levitate the statue of James from the bushes and in front of Kristal’s podium making everyone gasp at the sight.

“Say hello to James everyone.” Chrysalis snickered maliciously.

“JAMES!!! NO!!!” Aiden cried out in horror as he grabbed the statue that was once his boyfriend by its shoulders.

“James! Speak to me! Are you in there?! J-Just… PLEASE JAMES!!! SAY SOMETHING!!!” Aiden begged tearfully before he let go of the statue and kneeled down to start sobbing before Chrysalis stomped her hoof in fury.

“ENOUGH! Your boyfriend is alive! This spell is only temporary for the sake of our plans! By the time we are finished with the finale, the eliminated contestants will be unfrozen.” Chrysalis explained furiously.

Aiden gasped at this revelation. Maybe there was still hope…

“Now that everything is perfectly clear. Here is how things shall go.” Chrysalis announced as she flew into the sky, “The game will proceed as it normally would. Once you are eliminated, you will share the same fate as your influencer friend here. The only exceptions to this will be the final two who will fight for the three million dollars and those who are fortunate enough to find one of the two immunity totems.”

“Wait… immunity totems?” Ellie asked skeptically.

“That’s right.” Cozy Glow spoke with a chipper tone, “If you find an immunity totem, you must present it to us at the productions’ tent. Instead of it being used to protect you from getting any votes, it will instead be used to spare you from becoming stone. So if you end up with the most votes, you’ll just take the Bus Of Losers to the Losers Motel.”

The seventeen contestants all looked frightened by this new set of rules but considering their situation, they had no choice but to play along for now.

“With all that said, get some rest everybody. We have a long competition ahead of us.” Tirek spoke smugly.

Confessional: Miriam

“This game has truly changed for the worse now that those three are running things but mark my words, I am not giving up without a fight… not when the stakes are so high. For mine and Jake’s sake.” Miriam spoke firmly.

Confessional: Connor

“I can’t believe this… to think that those monsters would stoop so low! I guess they’ve earned their reputations as Equestria’s biggest villains for a reason.” Connor shook his head in disappointment, “I’m really worried about what comes for all of us, especially Riya. Will we even be the same after this is over?”

Confessional: Yul

“I am NOT turning into a statue! Not today! Not ever!” Yul spoke determinedly, “This just gives me even more motivation to win that three million dollars!”

Confessional: Grett

“Fuck… I can’t believe we actually have to play this twisted game…” Grett spoke fearfully as tears began to come out, “Yul and I are really going to need to lock in if we want to get out of here unscathed… if that’s even possible.”

Confessional: Alec

“To think this is how the game begins, huh?” Alec asked miserably before his face morphed into one of determination, “Well… I suppose losing this season is NOT an option.”

Confessional: Riya

“Goddammit!!! Of all the twists this game has to throw at me, now I have to fight for my fucking autonomy!!! This is fucked!!!” Riya cursed vehemently.

Confessional: Gabby

Gabby just cried into her hands.

Confessional: Tess

“I… I genuinely have no words. What happened to James was just… horrific.” Tess spoke softly as tears trickled down her cheeks. Now was not the time to have a breakdown.

Confessional: Ellie

“Gabby’s been inconsolable since we got back to camp. I can’t exactly blame her given what we just witnessed. If I didn’t need to win this game before, I definitely need to now.” Ellie spoke determinedly.

She wasn’t going to think of the fact that could mean Gabby or Tess would become a statue…

She shook her head. They would be fine. Even in the worst case scenario, their fates would likely be temporary. After all, the villains had no reason to lie… did they…

Confessional: Lake

“Aiden’s been in shambles after James…” Lake spoke before her face paled, “God… I don’t even want to say it. I can’t imagine how Rosa is feeling right now… having to watch this all unfold…”

Confessional: Tom

“Of all the places those three had to be, they just had to show up here!” Tom spoke furiously, “What do they even want with us?!”

His face then morphed into one of despair.

“Will me and Jake even live long enough for us to-“ Tom began solemnly before shaking his head sternly, “No. I’m sure we’ll be fine.”

Confessional: Ashley

“I’m not mad at Jake about what happened. None of us were prepared for that tragedy we had to witness… but if I make one wrong move, I could be next and… goddammit…” Ashley began tearing up.

Confessional: Hunter

“Ally hasn’t left my side since James got frozen and I can’t blame her. That experience was… awful. Me being blasted by Tirek wasn’t even the worst of it. God, Aiden must be devastated right now. If that happened to Ally or Tess…”

His face turned even paler at the idea of Ally or Tess being turned to stone. He began to sweat at the fact that one of them being turned into a statue was almost certain.

“Let’s hope the villains weren’t lying when they said being turned to stone would only be temporary.” Hunter gulped.

Confessional: Ally

Ally barely spoke a word as she sniffed and wiped her eyes.

“That could’ve been me or Hunter…” Ally said weakly.

She was determined to make sure that would never be the case.

Confessional: Aiden

“Wh-Why James?!” Aiden wailed, “H-He was the one person who liked- loved me for me!!! And now…”

“I-I have to win this… if only so what happened to James is worth it in some way.” Aiden wheezed.

Though deep inside, Aiden knew that even winning would not erase the current dread and despair he had to endure tonight.

Confessional: Jake

“What have I done…” Jake spoke softly as tears began forming in his eyes as he covered his face in shame, “What have I done?”

Notes:

Honestly, unless this chapter gets super popular, I doubt I’ll actually continue this but I was inspired by that New Elimination Method story that was posted and decided that it would be fun to dip my toes in what would essentially be the closest thing to a Despair Island premise.

Hopefully you enjoyed this despite how nonsensical and dark this is.
