Usually, toons of different seasons didn't see each other often. They were in self-isolation for most of the year. They wanted nothing to do with Gardenview or the other toons. However, since the ichor operation— and Gardenview's shut down— they seemed to slow enjoy socializing more outside their season.
One day, Bassie was a bit curious about the winter season. It was spring at the moment, about halfway through May, and Gardenview had shut down halfway through February. The cold wasn't really something she knew much about or experienced. Naturally, she had to ask someone about it.
Scouring the halls, she spotted a familiar pinkish-red ornament out of the corner of her eye. With quick speed, she called out to her. "Bobette!" She scurried quickly towards the bauble, hoping to be able to get the chance to ask the questions in her mind.
"Bassie? What do you need?" Bobette asked once Bassie had approached her.
Clearing her throat, she asked, "I've been wondering a lot recently... what is the winter season like?" As the words left her mouth, she felt like it was a bit of a silly question. Especially because it looked a bit like she was busy. Bobette always strived to be doing something or helping out.
"Hmm... well, it's very festive! We give gifts, we decorate, we have hot chocolate," she explained. Bassie crossed her arms and rested her head on her right hand, thinking a moment.
"I see... what about the cons?"
"It can get really cold, but I suppose that's what makes being stuck here not so bad," continued Bobette. "We don't have to deal with all the frigidness." Doesn't it get cold here too, though? She thought to herself curiously. "It can get cold, but not nearly as cold as it does in the outside world. At least, that's what Delilah says..."
"Wintertime sounds nice," Bassie mumbled. "Springtime is very warm and sunny. Sometimes, there is a cold day or two, but it's very fun."
Chuckling, she replied, "summer sounds like a joy."
"It is... I'm glad you can experience it this year."
